Jaky-poo,

I want all you to Thats "all of you". Do you actually think that you spell "you" "ya"? ::grins:: Okay, I wanna make this clear Jake: The reason why I pick on you and your silly posts is simple. Most people, or honorable people, that have big egos don't actually go around making posts saying "look at my ego! it is soooo big! I can't
even belive my own damn ego! Its enormous!" Most people with big egos don't even realize they have them until its brought to their attention. Now, if you know you have such a big ego, then, as they say, admitting is the first step to quitting, just like with alcholics. If you can say "hello, my name is Jake. . . and I have a big ego" then that means you're one step closer to helping yourself get better. I just want you to see that excessive
pride, termed Hubris, is the downfall of many people. I have a feeling that you will not heed my words because I spent too much time mocking you; however, I also have a feeling that you will learn this lesson after your stupid little game kicks you in your ass. As for the biggest ego in DoS it was, is, and always will be the position earned by Billy Ray Karnefexx, ::cough:: one of the honorable people with a big ego.
Anyway, maybe you'll win. Maybe you won't. Either way, one day God will show you the tradgedy of Hubris.

::She peruses the posts, catching sight of Cassius' notation.::

:She hoots, slapping her hand to her knee, laughing her head off. Tears of mirth tumble from the corners of her eyes. ::

"Oh, Brudda, if only you were here. You *are* the quintessential E.G.O. Simply...the best. "

::Billy aka the Brudda, she misses sorely. Thinking how much she loves and misses her Brudda, that big lug, her tears of mirth become a little more somber. She sniffs.::

"Awww hell. "

Jake,
People have good weeks and bad weeks. Being tired ruins concentration, making you more susceptible to losing, and ego simply does NOT make you the victor in the ring. There are too many factors that make or break a duel.
This arena is supposed to involve sportsmanship. This proposed game was not meant for fun, but because you simply want to showboat. That's not sportsmanship, simply. I suggest you sit down, have a long look around you, and not write anything until you've "calmed down".

::Chuckles as she comes across some of the other answering notes::

Oh, for Heaven's sake...... Jake IS just playing a game here. I'm sure you've all noticed in the Arena or Annex that when he mentions his *tremendous Ego*, he also usually smirks, laughs or even grins. Yes, he has an ego bigger than all of RhyDin. No, it most likely isn't justified by his WoL record. But, Shards, people...... Most of the time, he IS really just playing....

Could you make it for the longest losing streak, cause I dont think mine could ever be beaten, and I don't think I've ever had a more than 2 duel winning streak....And for all of you who say you've lost more in a row than me....I think I lost 12 in a row....hehe....

Cletus,

Right after winning my second Barony, I lost a total of 14 official duels, and 19 total duels. 14 official and 5 unofficial. Bishop once told me he lost something like 22 straight once. I don't know details on that, but that's what he told me.

I wish to congratulate all of you whom picked on Jake for this suggestion. Surely, we cannot have someone as grammatically challenged as he suggesting something with no malice towards others, can we? After all, we must pick on people for who they are, not by what the post actually says. Former Barons must be especially cruel and malicious to the man.

Cassius, Var, you two deserve special awards for reading the post and writing down a spiteful post, and one which tells Jake something which does not even come close to relating to the subject, respectively. You both have special talents for reading a post, and missing the point of it by a mile or two. If only the rest of us could be like you . . . Such shining examples of the upper ranks.

::claps idly, thinking Rix is pretty much the only person here thats made any sense::

On Egos;

Ruppers made his list....but I think its a tad bit antiquated.

Heres what I would consider a more accurate representation of the ten HUGEST(And most able to back it up at the drop of a hat)Egos that have strode the rings of the sport in recent times.

1) William Raymond Karnafexx (Wheres the Beef now Diablo? ::smirk::)

2) Cool Money (Flash in the pan, but he had a HUGE EGO, I mean hurt your eyes to look at HUGE EGO, and not a bad blade at that)

3) Jeffery Oakenshield (Teddy bear or not....all talk, and almost always victorious,...except with me)

4) Elijah Basia Uhr ( Intellectually out of control, his ego wasn't just muscle and steel...but cerebral too...quite a duelist of his time....but occasionally got himself to mad to duel in a straight line)

5) Lupton Est Dracoern (Yes.....I'll list the old curmudgeon, he can be highly skilled at times...and he does a real good Elijah impression too.)

6) Vercetrix Gavin Favre (Back when ye olde slash was unstoppable...Rixers was quite the dandy.....and didn't mind telling people either)

7) Ulath ni Fici ( Old Dark Axe....quite the talker of horse manure if given the chance in the right company.....a good old guy...and a hell of a duelist at times.)

8) Dalamar Ar'Daumon (Didn't think he'd make it? Get real....nice, soft spoken guy, but get in a discussion about dueling with him anytime and it just GLARES right through.)

9) Beka Cavish (She was pretty quiet about it....but the ego was obvious....as obvious and her asking *Are you ready?* every time before she tried to thrust......hated to see her go....but I LOVED to watch her leave.)

10) Adonai Uziel (I considered leaving myself off this list, but then....honesty is always the best policy. Let me get a little Mission From God going...and I'm probably pretty hard to be around ::grin::)

And a Hearty, Nice shot....but NO CIGAR to the following;

1) Skyler Jackson Chamberland (Fun sometimes....but the crotch grabbing and nose picking is just an awful set of habits in the same man)

2) Agrenish Preeeeeescot (No I didn't mispell it. This guy's ego is so new and shiny it still squeaks when he turns around too fast.)

3) Zaradda El Torch (I'm a good guy, I'm a bad guy, I'm a good guy, I'm a bad guy, good guy, bad guy, good , bad, good, bad....ZZzzZZZzzzZZZZzzzZZZZZzzzz)

4) Anon (File this one under the *Ummmm....okay* category)

5) Huma DragonsBane (Never believed it....not for a single minute ::grin::)

Well....that is what I would list as the recent and true *egos* of the Arena, leaving out Jonalyn of course....who leaves her *ego* to bigger and better things I am sure.

::Takes a second glance at Rix's post, then looks at Jake's again, writing for him::

This game will be about who is the top notch player. I want all you to see How many wins in a row ya can get without losing. It will show True Skills!

Maybe it's not the center point of the subject Rix, but it was mentioned. What I stated was in direct correlation with these words. Circumstances state how well one does in a duel. This does have to do with the post.

I have to say though, your vehement post was one that had nothing to do with the subject. If you don't believe state of mind and physical feeling have anything to do with the post, that's your opinion... Attacking me in such a manner was not only off topic (as you accused me of being) but it was also insulting. Read the words closely, and try to see how it was related to the topic.
