Just because you beat him on a blow out? Geez, why can't you just say you want a ring for what ever reason and he happened to be the Baron in the way? Also, there is a such thing as luck; and with one duel. Oy. I am not even this bad.

I suppose I have to agree with Evan on this one. One duel is really not much to base someone's skill or lack of it on. Even if someone blows Dalamar out 5-0, which doesn't happen often, that could mean they just got lucky. Not that they are Siera Redwin reincarnated. The first time we dueled, Unagi, you blew me out. 5-0 or 5-1, wasn't it? The rematch, I blew you out 5-2. Anyone can win any fight at any time.
I am not saying you shouldn't challenge, or even that you shouldn't challenge Magnus. It just seems to me that if you want a ring, or you want to fight another challenge match, you should be able to say you want a ring, or to fight another challenge match.
All that said, good luck Unagi. You are a skilled duelist, and you really do deserve to wear a ring. At the same time, I can't help hoping that Magnus teaches you that just one blow out isn't much to base a challenge on.

There is no better reason than thinking a Baron inadequate to challenge.

Good luck, Unagi.

I read about how Kalamere challenged the Overlord Xenograg because they never fought. I wonder if Kal had as many complaints.

Good luck, Unagi.

Out of curiosity, Evan, why'd you challenge Baron AJ and Baroness Kaprielle all those months ago?

"""""I am not even this bad.-Evan Rush Rynth

Sartan"""""

Oh no. Another board fight. You seem to be good at starting these, Sartan. Lets give him an around of applause. Well, I will say this once and lets hope it comes out clearly.

Aj was to go Renegade at the time. And, being loyal to Dal, I challenged. Yet, Aj went back to Loyal and the challenge went on anyway due to my peers having been verified.
Kap was the Loyal Baron I challenged with the single reason in my mind. I clearly stated it ... and that was to hold a Baron's Ring. I made no reason and we did in fact get to know one another.
And for you. I messed up in my Baron Vote and went back and fixed it.
And now I am challenged once more for the Third Ring. But, unlike a few challenges of the past, this is for the thrill of the sport. The enjoyment of the sport. A duel that only comes about every so often. And, unlike most Barons, including my challenge with you Sartan, I had the date and time set up a week before Golden even said the peers were valid. I did not take the full two and a half to three weeks to meet the challenge. Yes, I know I might
(most likely) loose my ring tomorrow, but that's half the fun.

The point I was trying to make, Evan, is that you stated yourself you had no reason to challenge Kappy, and I don't know about the AJ subject, as my memory is a bit fuzzy of those times.

Getting back on track, I'm basicallycalling you a hypocrite for saying that you had no reason to challenge Kaprielle, and yet here you denoucne Unagi's challenge because he finds the Baron unworthy, which is much more of a reason than you seemed to have.

As to my taking my time when deciding a challenge date, next time your'e involved, I'll remember not to discuss it with you and ask what times you're available, and will instead just decide upon the time and date of the challenge by whim, as you seem to have done with Rix's challenge.

Oh, and if I hadn't said it before, Good luck, Rix.

Unagi, as others have stated before, one duel does not determine one's skill. I respect you as a person, and you share this respect with others throughout the arena. While I am not the one who says who or why you challenge, I can only wish you luck.

Magnus, while I do not know you as well as others do, I wish you luck on your first defense.

I think that if he wants to duel Maxim for that reason, that it is his reason and no one else's. I don't think people should be tellin' him that it was luck or anything else. It was his reason and let us see if he can do it again. I agree though, i do think that Magnus could beat him this time. Anything could happen. But Unagi, if he challenges someone, it is no one else's business really. Just him and Magnus. And if
i was Unagi, i might have done the same. Good luck to ya Unagi, you are surely better than I.

That one was below the belt there, Sartan. For one, Kap was a worthy and honorable Baroness. From what I had seen, she could handle her ring better than you and me. And besides ... I stated my reason to her alone if I believe. So with that point dead, I will move onto the next.
Rix challenged me a week ago, pal. As soon as I got word of it, I went and talked with him. *We* set up a date and a good day in case the caller had some bad times. In this case, Skall is calling his first Baron's Challenge Match. So, please. Get your head on right and your facts straight before you go shooting your mouth off. I am sorry I have to sink down to the boards just to talk to your face, but it has to be done.
One last thing ... when you and me where setting up a date, you just said a date and I said all right, seeing how far you set it back. Fear, anger, or for what other reason, you did not fight it right off the bat or even close to the bat. But, I guess a few weeks did not matter.

Evan..I think ya should drop the subject. I remember you saying that you wanted to be a baron for the sole reason of having a fifth fancy move. If Unagi wants to challenge cause he shut somebody out, let him....end of story.

I think everybody's making a big deal out of nothing on this one.

Good luck, Magnus.
