Jona,

I agree with what Jola has said, by placing the matter up for all to see you have brought the matter to the public eye.

Pointedly, m'ady, if you care not a whit a you stated, why bring this issue to light?

Jonalyn,

You made your accusation of dishonesty PUBLICLY. Thereby involving the community you are so fond of speaking for on many occasions. Therefore INFORM the community of your reason for the accusations, or apologize for making them in the first place. You continue to be evasive, mysterious, and personally aggressive. This makes me question whether you really believe in any deceit, or whether you merely wish to create the appearance so others start
idle gossip.
Once again, cease this refusal to explain your statement. If you feel strongly enough to make an accusation publicly, even cursing the Baroness's reign, you should have no problem with telling us WHAT she did that was so very deceitful.

My Friend Jaycynda...

The student has surpassed the teacher... even if you still won't admit to learning anything from me. I am sorry I was unable to attend your duel... but I am sure you did, and always will, carry yourself with the kind of honor that makes me proud to call you my friend.
Well won, my friend... I always knew you were capable of this.

Jola this time tells the computer using voice command what to write, and it does so. She then is assisted to post the printed copy to the board.

"Thy reign ended in deceit and defeat Evan."

"Thine reign begins in the same manner, Jaycynda."

"May the ring rest heavy on thine hand, Baroness, and may it not rest there overlong."

These were your exact words, Jonalyn. I've not asked about Jaycy's alignment, or anything of that nature. I simply want to know one thing.

What causes you to accuse Jaycynda of being deceitful?

This is what you have announced to the realm, and this is what you must explain, or be thought of as someone who slanders. It is too late for this to be a private matter.

Again, I ask. Back up your words or retract clearly and apologize.

Hey, perhaps it's because I haven't been around lately, but this just seems ridiculous.
I can't even divine what's being argued over after reading a god-awful amount of posts.

Don't you people have sex lives or anything?

::notes the money and shakes her head::

To whomever placed this here,

The slander of ones good name is a foul thing and far from a joke. Having been the object of such, I find this abhorant. Unless proper information is given to us, the public, to whom this matter has been pointed out, then one must assume that it is indeed a slander without foundation and since it was placed in writing I believe the term is libel?

Pointedly, if something is ones opinion they should state such, an opinion is neither right nor wrong it is a view of something from a personal perspective.

DoS:

Stop this auguring upon the boards over something so little. It is doing nothing more than taken' up friggin' space. And tons of it. I leave for a couple days and come back to this? No, this is not how I wanted the challenge to go. There was no need for bickering in it. So please, fill up *YOUR* own mail boxes if you need to write out something, cause trying to make yourself look better over these boards just ain't cuttin' it.

Collie, Percival, Jola etc.,

To those who continue the attempt to force the information from Jonalyn, I must ask.. why? Jonalyn stated clearly that the matter has been discussed via private missive between herself and Jaycynda, so what cause is there to continue on here in full view of the public?

Because you feel it is slanderous? I am afraid that only the person so injured has any rights in such a dispute. Since I've seen no further comment or question from Jaycy, I must assume that the questions have been answered to her satisfaction. Certainly, it would appear that Jaycy does not wish the matter to be carried on in public either, so why is it the rest of you will not let it go? If she truly wishes the matter to remain private, do you
believe to somehow be avenging her by demanding these public statements from Jonalyn? Are you truly looking to aid Jaycy, or simply to satisfy your own curiosity?

Give some thought to the matter perhaps, and you might find that silencing it may be the true method of asisting the new Baroness... assuming that is your goal.

Evan,

No offense intended, but this place that I recall is for discussion of public issues. If you feel that voices should be squelched perhaps you should set an example and begin with your own.

This is not an argument, persay, it is a discussion to ascertain why Jona has leveled accusations of deceit against Jaycy. No true bickering, just requests for the reasons, and pointing her own words out to her. When someone puts an accusation in writing for all to see it is no longer a private matter, but a public one.

By the way, there is an old saying, "Step not into the fray of two in heated discussion, lest you find yourself the target of the fire from both." It refers in particular to married couples, but the point is valid.

::he smirks, looking over every post, though reading very few of them for their full context. Coming upon the coins nailed to the board, he slips his schiavona from its scabbard at his side, sliding the tip beneath the first coin and prying it loose; doing the same to the second. Slamming the blade back home, he flips the coins into the air, catching them with a sidehand swipe before moving on down the hallway::

Bunch of idiots around here. Most of them deserve a swift boot to the skull...

::after a moment's consideration and a few more steps, he adds, speaking to no one but himself::

I guess most of them already have.

::he pockets the coins, his words echoing in the long hall::

Collie,
I have to disagree about it being a discussion anymore. There are a couple aggressive words from one person to another, and I believe that's what Evan is referring to.
If I misunderstood Evan, or my statement isn't clear, I'm sure I'll be corrected. However, that is how I see it.
