And now...

Patrons,
seeing as now people can break preset rules set for our sport, and the baron's council now has the power to make it's own rules and punish a person for having a mind of thier own, it is with this that I say...I will not be apart of such a community. Who does the council think they are telling a person how to live and conduct themselves? Some of the people here fling insult after insult at the other patrons, and if anybody decides to change thier
mind what happens? Kill that person and let the person who broke a *written* law go unpunished. To hell with that. I retire.

Argh, Retirement? ::grins:: Understandable, but, sad. The unfairness, rises. Some one gets the shaft. Retirement is intercepted. Barons, are you fine with this? Is this something that everyone in there actually agreed upon? Hmmm, seems to me, someone perhaps bribed, persuaded, or just told a lie. Unless all of ye all have no heart. Huma diserves another chance. Did i say *another*... was there
another? Well, this i feel should be changed. I now disagree with the whole council. Just wait until i get back into style. I'm coming old Barons, and i will change some things in this here settlement.

Farewell to you, Huma. If'n ye change ye mind. Call me, Coffe sounds fine. Until whenever, have a fine break, or forever vacation.

::reads over the posts::

Jake. I understand your anguish to this decision, but you shouldn't blame every baron, for you have no way to know exactly how each one voted. I am not sure if each Barons decision was posted or not, for I have not read all of the posts.

Huma,
I am sorry to see you go. Its a sad day...as most have been and will be.
Good luck be with ye.

Glancing up to hear the Dragonlord's comment, she leans infront of him to read Huma's notice. Shaking her head, she gives him a long look. "Dark times only come if good people let them come... though some are defeated, others must take up the task. I'm up for it, are you?" Placing her hand upon the comforting firmness of her blade's hilt, she nods. "I will miss them, just as surely as you will... but I do not give up, not for any
reason."
Taking quill in hand, she posts a quick note.

Huma...
Have you acknowledged your defeat?

Huma,

The man I observed was nae a quitter...he was proud, spirited and honorable. He would not forsake and abandon that, which he loved so. Forgive me if I have spoken too freely. I realize your plight m'lord, but remember...

Wow, another retiree, trying to make a point, even though it never happens. I'll bet that you come back 1 month later, expecting a general fanfare...
This "retirement" thing is starting to annoy me. Just leave the Arena, silently, make people wonder. Then they might miss you.
