The brown-haired boy rounded the corner of the street. He watched the rats scurry across the to thier little hiding holes, the birds flying as fast as possible to escape Rhydin and the Dogs trying to hide from what would seem to be an ominous black cloud of death that hovered over the dueling arena since the convening of the council. The little boy was intent on getting home to his mother as fast as he could, then he
came in front of the Duelers arena, and found a pile of black dust that had a round ball in the center of it. At first, he was timid and hesitated before walking closer. Then, he mustered the courage to step farther. When standing directly above the pile, the wretched smell of death overwhelmed him. He nudged the ball with his foot and it rolled over. Looking up at him was the always-smiling face of Spicy Jack the Flamenco dancer. The boy gasped and
ran off fast as possible.

The boy returned the next day with his brother. They both stared at the pile of black dust. The wretched smell still lingering about the street. The boys looked up at the black cloud as it grew. Then their attention turned to the pile as a deep painful moan came from the pile. They both stepped back terrified. Then, like smoke from a fire, a transperant ghostly image rose from the pile. The boys ran quickly into the
arena to hide from the Ghost of Spicy Jack Flamenco dancer.
