::Waltzes in, breezes through the bazillion posts that she probably shouldn't have even read, gets irked, slaps a note up with a bit of gum::

Hey, y'all. Someone let me know when the DoS becomes fun again. Til then, I do believe I'll just stay in Britannia. And, do the rest of us roamers a favor.. rip down all those damn posts that have to do with politics. Makes me queasy.

I think I'll go find a Lich to whack.

Well Buffy...

With all these "rules" going around, I'll post my own now...
1) When the politics get out of hand, declare yourself Neutral and watch while everyone takes pot-shots at each other... sometimes ammusing, sometimes not.
2) Always agree with G'nortie's "No Slashing" rule when he's there, then do what you think is best anyway.
3) Flirt in moderation, for excessive flirting can lead to unwanted attentions.
4) Duel because you can, not because you have to. Nobody -has- to duel, nobody -has- to get peer-wins, nobody -has- to make rank... everybody -does- need to have fun, however.
5) Avoid the cheese-sticks in the fridge... don't ask, just avoid them.
6) Take time to smell the flowers... yeah, those colorful things that grow outside... and watch the sunset. That's the end of the day, for those of you who don't remember... ::Figures this need embelishing, given the tendancy for most duelers to only come out at night.:: I'm sure some of you people remember what the Sun is... that big yellow ball of light in the sky during the day.
7) Most importantly... keep in touch with your friends, they care about you.

You mean someone else has seen that big yellow ball... and it's been named? So much for The Great Torch of Feather.

Really? And I had always imagined that someone was shooting a star torpedo at me and it somehow got doomed to keep circling the planet, never quite hitting me before it went to the far side again... or something like that.

The best thing about the Duel of Swords is, if you personally or politically disagree with someone, you can beat the crap out of them with a lethal weapon!

I dunno, Buffy, the politics are fun enough when played by competent people, rather than a field of whiners backed by mindless nobodies.

As she posts a reply on another issue, she hears Percival laugh nearby. Having a fair inkling of what he found so humorous, and despite their current situation to being "at odds," she can appreciate finding great humor in the particular item as he does.

Her mouth quirks into a fleeting grin, moving on.

The globe of seeing makes it's way once more to the Arena during it's temporary off-season. Scanning and discarding the more pointless and annoying messages tacked to the ancient boards, he comes across the one from the known Slayer.

He reads her words and grins with a hint of darkness, a small idea forms in his mind at her final scribblings. "I think I'll go find a Lich to whack."

He lets out a small chuckle at that thought, pondering.

"Hmm, a Fourth Children to consider, perhaps? Could be interesting if she truly slays the undead, maybe an experienced challenger. This calls for some investigation."

He leans back in his ancient chair in his long standing tower and closes his eyes, pondering on the events to come soon enough for the first three.

"We could need a substitution for the players on the field."
