Oh, for those speculating that some people's opinion on this challenge has to do with alignment, I have something to say to you too.
Var is Renegade, yes. However, in his recent tenure as Baron of the same ring, Agrenish was also Renegade. My guess is he would be so again, unless major changes I am unaware of have taken place.
At least from my viewpoint, this isn't about alignment.

Respective Titles of the Duel of Swords,
With the Peer Wins validated, and the participating parties informing me of times that work best for them, I am officially accepting the challenge issued by Agrenish Preescott. Comparing the times that seem to work best for everyone, I have established a time for the match to take place.
The match will be Sunday, December 13th in the Basement Annex. It will take place at 8:00 Eastern Rhydin Time. My Lady of Honor will be the eternally beautiful Lady Noelle Medici-Giovanni; the love of my life. My second will be my own flesh, my first born son, Noble Morgan Medici-Giovanni. I will don the colors of silver metallic blades colliding over the ocean blue, the Medici-Giovanni family colors. I shall wield my rapier dedicated to
the friends of mine who passed away before reaching Rhydin; Fallen Crew.
The official known as RDI KID has agreed to officiate the third challenge between Agrenish and I.
I thank all parties for informing me of the times that work for them, which helped keep things simple. If any of the parties have an immediate change of plans, the match will be rescheduled appropriately.

Good luck, Agrenish. Understand though that I'm not rooting for you.
Simply, and with some humor,

Var Medici-Giovanni

Aggy, yer arrogance is soothing and makes a great laugh...::no pun intended::
I hope you have luck on yer journey to becoming a Baron.
Var, I have seen you duel wickedly, I hope that yer endeavors to maintain the ring of Baron are as successful as they have been in the past. I congratulate yer stoicism in response to Agrenish.
::Still laughing, can't get Agrenish's words out of her head:: Agrenish, may I suggest a more "subtle" way of posting yer peer wins? Anyways, I respect yer ambition and persistance, Honor and Skill to ye both!

Cletus,

I don't recall seeing Sid speak ill of Var or Aggy for that matter at all here. She made a simple observation. I think your reading a bit too much into her comment.

Var,

Duel with skill, m'love. I shall stand proudly by your side. I count my blessings...four precious children and Twelfth Night, when you took me as wife. Tis an honor I cherish.

Love always & forever,
Noelle

<<First, the subject of Agrenish. I think he is a good example to newer duelists of how not to act. This makes him valuable, barely. We need the occasional negative role model. . . All in all he is a competent duelist, but he really isn't Baron material.>>

Hmmm... I disagree. Negative role model? Why is he that? He's human. Not all humans are squeaky clean perfect gentlemen like you. I dont think his presence in the arena is negative at all, and thats coming from a priest. Just because he's rude doesnt mean he evil. Jeesh, if character was based on tact, this place would be the pit of Satan's horde. Anyway, people like Sir Agrenish make this world the way that it is. Why is he such a bad guy?
Because he runs his mouth? He backs it up doesnt he? You said yourself "competent duelist". He has his reasons for what he does just like everyone else, only, he doesnt lie about his reasons. What's so bad about that?

>Tact is, unfortunately, an important factor in being a Baron.

This is hardly true, if at all. Billy Ray was hardly the most tactful of people, but he was one hell of a Baron.

Cletus~

Actually, your response, had it been about another Baron (such as AJ perhaps), would have given me pause to think over my motives. However, my problem with Var is a personal one, one that has absolutely nothing to do with the Duel of Swords.
