ye ask either guardian the same question... " if i were to ask the other guardian wich door leads to salvation which door would he say?" and then choose the opposite of what he tells you.

"Write boots without shoes?" a low whistle.

His flat, black eyes look over the other missives, flipping back and forth for the answer. Finding none, he shrugs and decides to venture a guess. Looking down at his bare feet (indeed, he never did like the feel of shoes, he could run faster without them), he wriggles his toes before looking back to the board and picking up the common pen.

"boots"

After writing upon the paper, he sticks his ebon tongue out of the side of his mouth, his ivory teeth chewing on it in thought. Satisfied, he wanders out of the Arena to ponder the mysteries of the universe over a bowl of oatmeal.

Yawning as she wanders around the empty arena, finally pausing to scan all the notes on the board. With a wicked grin she mumbles, "Do as I say and not as I do. Write boots without shoes."

With a shrug she scribbles under the word boots, boots without shoes. Grinning she wanders out to see if anyone is upstairs in the Red Dragon Inn.

A soft swirl of sand from the rings to the boards, and a small note is left in its place.

Feet.

Very good answer, whoever it was who didn't sign... the answer was indeed "Boots."

As for Magnus' question, it is normally stated in the riddle that both guards know the correct way out... if they did not, then there -would- be no question that could be asked.

Here's one, it is either hard or easy, let's see wot ye make of it:

I do not creek like my brother,
nor do house eight legged fiends, like my cousin,
Ruff
Lonely
Knot
Belfry

Eldest child, second eldest, third and fourth,
all inherit, all of worth.
Fifth, Six, and beyond are abondoned-Spartan style.

Here's another easy one I made:

It does this on the first season,
An air loom then add the first bee.

Into specifics, its third hue is gentle as a,
lamb
The first two, are
My fourth, I am Is
The fifth not is I am am not fifth is third, pigs are not this
My sons are many one to first two to second three to third and I am, old
-What am I?
G'd luck!

Blind men spend too much time with their sight turned inward. I think some of those feathers found their way into your head Coron.

In the brief time I've spent around you in the arena it did not seem that you were at all sensitive of your blindness nor even considered it a burden to you. My words were meant as a friendly poke in the ribs and that is all. Indeed, you seem to be as complex as your riddles. Take what offense you may, and think what you will of my wit. To be underestimated is to have the advantage.
