Goodwill toward men?

Patrons of the Red Dragon Inn, and it's basement arena,

It's the holiday season, and I have yet to see any "Goodwill toward men, or women" here in RhyDin. All of you people are hellbent on insulting and humiliating each other. I have found myself wondering why I stay in such a place.

This person hasn't been looking in the right places. Just because some people don't get along, doesn't mean everyone doesn't get along. I've witnessed plenty of goodwill towards others. I'm friends with so many. And I've seen other people who are friends. It's just that on these boards, the friendships don't show forth. You have to look for it in person, or in the arena to see it. I doubt most of it would show here.

My appologies to all, from what I have seen on this posting board, the world would seem to be at war. I did not know that people could fight like cats and dogs on paper, then go be buddy-buddy.
My appologies for the confusion.

M'Lord Moonshade.

I do believe what my long-time friend Gnort meant was... True friends do not spend hours upon hours patting each other's backs and posting lauditory comments about each other. And many those who do oft spend much of there time posting here, only do so to attack the persons and opinions of the others... who oft do the same.
The most vociferous personages are oft the ones who insult with near every breath...

Kid.....

I can tell you, from personal experience.....the heat and bad feelings you see here...are nothing compared to some other areas of Rhydin. Enjoy life for what it is

Actually, the fact that there are so many inflammatory posts can be seen as a good thing; at least duelers are willing to state their feelings. It is possible for interpersonal relations to be so bad, that people are unable to even communicate with each other, due to their feelings. When this happens, it is only a matter of time before the society breaks down.

Try not to assume that this is everyone's holiday season.

Bah, hum-bug, Morgan. You are welcome to join the family for our get together if you wish. Be sure to bring a dish of something though, Andur gets very stingy this time of year.

I do not get "stingy." I merely become slightly irratible.

Andur, better send a missive to Aunt Talnion. We'll be needing more tarts.
