The newest Queue Keeper

Her wings are drawn close to her back, chin tipped slightly downward, large eyes gazing up shyly, left hand relaxed upon the hilt of her sword sheathed at her left hip, right hand holding a quill made from the feather of a swan, the tip dripping with fresh green ink.

The angel's voice is confidant yet light as she announces, "Greetings fine duelers of this grand place. I am Cygnet Seraphin, recently hired to keep the queue. May you all have skill and honor, and patience when I... ::clears her voice::... when I perhaps spill my ink and lose the queue."

The suspended celestial being smiles playfully with a ruffle of her wings, eyes bright and curious indeed. As she steps with grace from ringside, the ink from the quill drips deep green upon her very white breeches, creating a most earthly nostalgic look of tye-dyed rings.

Grace she may be from the heavens above, but grace of hand is yet to be seen from the 1st Angel in the 9th order. May the duelers have mercy on her queue.

Well Rad, in your acute wisdom and intellegnce, you failed to notice what Cyggy said...Here, I'll show you...

Notice that "She announced" a greeting to us duelers.
If that isn't a reason to respond to the original post, then I don't know what is. I suggest opening your eyes once in a while. It's sad that you think you have to monitor the boards and point things out to so many, well, Rad, You messed this one up, and you got someone showing you.

It was a splendid honeymoon. Secluded on a small island, Iain and Luthien did what any well-bred newlywed couple would do.

It was a good thing, too, because if Iain had any inkling of the ridiculous arguments that had been occuring in their absence, he'd most likely have suffered an apoplectic aneyurism, which would have made Luthien very cross indeed.

Hearing all the duelists comment about her *verbal* greeting, the light angel moves to the boards (as she heard mentioned by a very handsome, lanky fellow), taking a pale parchment from her queue sachel, the green ink slightly smuged in places, but none-the-less readable. Using one of her own feathers to secure it to the board, the announcement reads:

~ Greetings fine duelers of this grand place. ~
I have been recently hired to keep the queue.
May you all have skill and honor, and patience when I perhaps spill my ink and lose the queue.
