Tribute and Challenge to Lord Dalamar Ar'Daumon
Lord of the Dale
Twenty Eighth Overlord of Swords
Reigning Nineteen Months

Brothers, let us listen long,
To the lowly minstrel's song,
Of a land of mediocrity, once enslaved,
By Dalamar's might sword is saved.

The Vipers came to take the young,
The deep blue waters mourned her sons,
For those she'd suckled from their births,
Lay swallowed by the depths of earth.....

Dalamar's mighty sword proceeds,
The cause advances, the Brood recedes,
Into Ocean's deepest depths fed...
She swallows them, as earth her dead.

I, Eros Hunrai Marzanhe DeBurgo, Knight of Eldicor and Defender of The House of Asgard do respectfully issue challenge to Lord Dalamar Ar'Daumon, Lord of the Dale
and Twenty Eighth Overlord of Swords, for the crown of Overlord of The House of Swords.

Lord Ar' Daumon has established himself as the greatest Overlord to ever twirl a blade. He has reigned for over Nineteen Months, and has successfully defended his title Nineteen times. He deserves the greatest of respect and admiration. And, to use a term we are so fond of in Swords, he deserves Honor.

It is in this regard that I issue this challenge. The Honor shall lay in the Challenge itself. This is my reason for challenging; may it bear fruit. I pray it may be an example to many, and may the Gods bless those who dream one day of dueling the duel.

I shall represent The Elven Kingdom of Eldicor and The House of Asgard. My Second shall be The Elven Ranger and Warlord, Shadowsiv. If given the choice of location, I choose The Twi'lit Isle. If given the choice of caller, I choose RDI Fish.

My colors shall be red, black and gold. The coat of arms of all gold... the four segments divided by a red cross.... a black lion rearing in the upper left corner.

And finally, most importantly, My Lady of Honor shall be...as she was long ago,
The Lady Topaz. This time she shall stand as Lady Topaz DeBurgo, my beloved wife and longtime friend.

May You all Be Blest, and may we all remember to accord to the reigning Overlord the Honor which he deserves.

Well, this should just be a fairly enjoyable match whatever happens. I think that, since I didn't root for Marz in his last challenge, it would probably be nice of me to root for him now. So Marz, duel like you've nevetr dueled before and take it home with you.
Dal, duel well. Probably isn't necessary to say, as you almost always duel well, but I will say it anyway. Good luck, and have fun.
