Bring it on!!

Magnus Eques and others,
It has been a while since my last challenge. So I decided that I will come forth to challenge again. I simply ask to meet with the Baron of the 13th, in a challenge match, as given by my rights. In this age it would almost be sacrilegious to ask for this match without stating why, so I will give two reasons. The wins over loss ratio held by the baron is far from adequate in my mind. Thus I challenge him on this stance. If he were to not hold a ring,
he would only be a master of the arms. I recently was deprived of a title in another venue for this sole reason. I believe that a Baron should hold a higher mark, and this is the major reason I challenge. The second is simple. I have seen many fall to the baron's sword. Many who have tried to take away his ring. I realize that the Baron is tough, and wishes to hold onto his position. I only want the chance to prove that he shouldn't hold the ring any
longer. I think he will provide for an excellent test of my worthiness to hold another ring.

In case you didn't notice, Evan, Magnus isn't Ford. Not a disparaging remark, just a fact. Duel well Avery, and walk away having had your finest hour.

To all,
I knew someone would bring up Ford. Let me say this. I respect the Barons skill... they both have it. They are both able to defend their ring. Alas, i would dishonor myself to allow him to wear the ring, because his mark is so low. I do not attack his skills at all. I challenge the fact that he is able to keep he mark at a constant level. He has the skills, and on grand occasions, he steps them up. That is why i look forward to this challenge. I know
i will get his best.

Just fer da record...
Ford was challenged because his wins over losses record. So even if Magnus was Ford, Avery still has a legitimate reason (using comparison as yer judge).
Also, Ford's skill shone especially in challenge matches, it earned him even more respect on top of dat which he received fer his character, so challenges are a good opportunity ta quiet critics.
Anyhow, just my spiel ta validate Avery's reasons.
Here endeth da lesson.

Magnus and Avery...
This is hard, for both of you are skilled, honorable duelists whom I also respect as friends.
I know it will be an interesting challenge. If only you both could step out of the ring, with a ring.
