May I humbly ask who's "concern" it is to comment on the state of the community? I apologized for my words. If that is not good enough for you, I'd like to know what is. Why do you insist on attacking me over this? I apologized for goodness sakes, what more am I to do?

Again, I'm sorry for my hasty condemnation of the "majority" of the community.

I didn't say you had gotten riled, my lady. I was saying that there was no need for myself to get riled over the situation.

I gladly thank you for your acceptance of my apology, but I wonder if you always accept apologies with such anger. I'm not asking you to answer that, it's a rhetorical question.

Could you explain to me a bit about Lady Jonalyn? Her actions are a bit ponderous and I'm wondering if it's just the fact that I'm new here and am not used to the customs and mannerisms of the population of RhyDin.

She's a witch we've yet to stake and burn, and I, personally, believe her to be the root of evil. She thrives on discourse, pain, insults, and the abuse of this board amd the community for the betterment of her withered self-esteem.

Until we torch her, her lengthy posts are excellent for paper machet projects, which my children especially enjoy, fire kindling, as well as bird cage liner.

Jona is a woman of passionate loyalties. She is a woman who feels deeply the decline of the community as a whole. She does and says what she feels she must to help restore it to it's former grandeur. While many disagree with her methods, I don't think many argue with her wish.........

I have offered the olive branch and you have proudly stomped upon it with the grace and dignity of a blind, deaf and rabid dog. I'm afraid you have turned your venom on the wrong woman, for I had no intention on verbally attacking you as some here already have. And before you ask, no I'm not going to explain exactly who I mean by "some". If you don't know who's attacking you openly, that's your problem, but I had no intention of doing as they have.
Still, you turned your barbs on me.

I need not gain attention, my lady. That is not my purpose for being in RhyDin. If it was, I wouldn't have been here trying to make peace with you to get it.

Please, when you have the intent to insult someone, it would be nice if you would read all of their words rather than picking and choosing. I had also written "and anyone else". The naming of Lupton in particular was due to the fact that of the people I've met he's been one of the ones who's known you for quite a bit.

This comment makes me of the mind that you believe that everything said here is an attack unto you. No wonder you are so sour all the time, and play it off as if it merely "amuses" you. If you honestly think that my attempt to fix the situation shows that I have no respect for the community, you don't have one clue what respect means. To defecate on the hand held out in peace only proves all the more your lack of comprehension of what the word respect means.

I believe you have covered the situation quite clearly in your last two paragraphs.
Every time I have attempted some level of settlement between myself and Lady Jonalyn, she attacks me anew... and it seems she is doing the same to you now.
The Lady is deft at turning ones words into insults, and twisting ones wording to her own purposes...
This should not be seen as an insult, merely as an observation. But, given the way she seems to feel about me, she will most likely find a way to take or give insult because of my words here... I've become used to it.

In closing, I agree with you... Insulting others is hardly the best way to promote respect and honor.

I didn't mean to say that I believe Lady Jonalyn's methods to be either practical or efficient, only that she believes deeply in her reasons for them. Myself, I have tried to stress tolerance, acceptance and forebearance in an attempt to bring a feeling of comraderie to DoS, and hopefully all of RhyDin. My methods have been called various things... mostly idealistic, *pie-in-the-sky*, not reasonable, and many more along
those same lines..... But some few agree with me. Most don't. That is the nature of life. Not everyone will agree with everyone else. I live with it, and I accept it.
Jona and I both feel deeply about many of the same things.... we disagree on how to attain them. But I still consider her a friend, and we two simply agree to disagree on the methodology involved in this particular issue.
Now.... with that said and done........I welcome you to RhyDin. Your stay here won't always be pleasant...... but it will be invigorating........

Since it ist vastly apparent that mine vernacular ist too copious for thine diminutive comprehension, let me point out for thee thine specific comments, most of which thee hae contradicted in thine own jottings, numerous times.

In thine first missive, thee declared that "thee hae been here for months." Just where ist "here" for thee didst yuirself comment that thee were a " relative newbie in the Arena." Relative to whom, Missy?

Thee make the comment "...a bunch of bickering and stressing over small things.", a belittling and judgmental statement, would ye nae think? Thee then add the childish comment, "...is the world really going to end if someone finds out about a challenge early?"

I shall pass over thine "jerk" and "majority" comments, they were utterly ludicrous ast well ast judgmental or perhaps thee dinna notice that. Thee continue with another ludicrous statement, ..."and since nice people seem to be ignored around here, nice people leave." Thee continue, " So many of you are so riled up....etc.", then whine that thee were, ..."ignored" when attempting to give a friendly greeting. Perhaps thee dinna consider that yuir
"greeting" wast nae considered friendly. The rest of thine ramblings continued in the same vein.

Now thee hae Madame Silvertree's comment, "Many of them, while still being jerks, are at least respectful when they duel." Perchance she feels that sets things to rights, an amusing premise. She also comments, "The truely (sic) honorable person shows respect to everyone, even their enemies." Even an enemy earns the respect of his foes.

Quilyn Silvertear, thee then placed another missive 'pon this cork, with nae anna apology, just an admission thee hae "over did it", continuing thine original vein of comment by insulting those who aire "vocal".

I shall note for reference that thine name appears in the standings lists ast of the eleventh month of the year past. I find it vastly amusing that, until now, thee hae made nae anna effort to become acquainted with me, save that thee didst decide to insult the community ast a whole in what seems to be thine first jottings upon this ancient cork. Perhaps tis why ye were "ignored" in giving "friendly" greeting. Thee then make the accusation that
Sir Father Leo Cassius Pride didst only read "half your post" and didst then state that he hae "blown it a bit out of proportion".

Madame Silvertree hast accorded thee the "title" of "Lady". Interesting, a courtesy nae doubt, and one I shall eschew giving thee. I shall note some further contradictions in thine jottings, Quilyn Silvertree to whit, " Ah so this is what has gotten you so riled up about my post." Thee then go on to pen, "Nothing to get riled about...", then deny these comments stating, "I didn't say you had gotten riled...." I should consider that a
direct contradiction of thine own statements, wouldna thee?

Thee then claim to hae offered an "olive branch", then do insult offer insults, "....with all the grace and dignity of a blind, deaf and rabid dog." The then make the presumption and continue thine insults, stating thine usual contradiction that thee aire nae doing such.

Quilyn Silvertear, do hae thine elders ta see ta thee, tis thee shouldna be wandering around without thine nanny to look after thee. When thee hae attained a modicum of intelligence and maturity, perchance thine whining drivel shall cease. Tis I do ponder that it shall take thee, mayhap, in elfin years, at least the next five hundred if the Fates aire kind and thee hae intelligent tutors, though I wouldst in all honesty pity them the attempt. Thee
hae proven beyond a shadow of doubt exactly what thee aire, a petulant child in dire need of attention.

I think that mayhaps you either didn't fully read my missives, or mayhaps you took them in a light that wasn't intended. I wasn't *bickering* with anyone. Lady Silvertear asked a question of the community at large, and I chose to answer it. I then responded, and quite gently I might add, to her response to me. Any who know me, know as well that I verra rarely place anthing upon the cork.... and when I do, I am usually asking for temperance,
understanding, forgiveness and aceptance of others. Mayhaps you should consider you words a bit more carefully before you add further to the *petty bickerings*.
