::smiles patiently and waits for Cygnet and Gnim to put up the first of half of the sentance of his announcement regarding the Death of the Overlord. Curious as to why it was not included. Thinking maybe it had something to do with the meaning of the sentance. ::smiles and taps his toes, waiting...hums gently...smiles and looks around::

Glancing at the toe tapping Overlord, Gnimish elbows his old friend and Gryphon team mate, Marzan.

"you waiting for me to read the part where you called Sid the widow?", the gnome asks as he rolls his eyes with a smirk, then a quick wink.

Walking over to the boards, he pushes his way through just to get close enough to see what the hell is going on. Finally giving up he stands back and watches all the people posting their ideas, about others ideas, that were posted in response to their ideas. Sitting with a smile on his face, he mutters.

"Its times like this, when i am glad i can't read."

Walking off, he hands Christopher the message to put on the boards.

"Good luck fighting you way up their...."

Christopher watched Avery walk down the hall, then turning he looked at the boards. Finding a small opening, he pushed his way up to pin Avery's thoughts to the board.... It wasn't long before a hand grabbed it down and started to read it.

Well then... we have the Amethyst Ring now.... so when are we going to get the other gang started up. Then we can have some real fun around here.... Ya know, have seperate corners in the Arena. If you look at someone the wrong way, you could get attacked when walking home at night. This could be fun... Real fun

The matter of Dalamar's status or nonstatus within the living is all conjecture and until Sidartha herself comes with my messenger to Avalon so that I may speak with her privately, no one will know anything for certain.

I demand from Jaycynda again her corpus delicti to support her claim that Dalamar is dead, much less murdered.

::rubs his tired eyes after reading 60 plus ramblings on this particular subject. Stepping back to allow himself to focus while taking a deep breath, before responding to those whose messages he managed to retain::

Good lord people, are ye all daft?
Mac Kenzie, ye know well I will stand beside ye on this matter, as you have been concise as well as direct in regards tae yer bloody intentions since ye were released from tha' place ye were in.
Huma , yer a cur! ye ha'e no class and ye know it. Yer attitude toward the Barness Le Fay is reprehensible. Were I to expose what I have managed to accquire in regards to your opinion of the lady Le Fay, I dare say those who did champion or state their willingness to do so, would drop you like a hot rock and deny they even know you.
Stonecutter, I see you have changed colors. Tis your opinion now that a Warlord has a free shot at any Baron he or she chooses to target? Pity , yer hypocricy is so belatedly evident.
Adonai, Yer now leading the crusade so ye will chastise one who openly acts upon his belief? Dosnae sound like the man who would aide the beginners and try to create a new DoS, or has that vision gone by the wayside?
Baphelocutis, Ecore Elijah or whatever it is I am tae be callin you. What are ye saying here? You, the most politically minded house leader since the leaders of Questrion, are offering a blade against poiltical motivations? There be a laugh Drac.
Lupton, ye make a good point.
Oakenshield, ye hae been loyal to every Overlord ye ha'e been baron to till now, ( correct me if i am wrong)why the change of heart? Ye looking to be the Over Dwarf or what? I could think of worse candidates but I would like to know the reasoning behind the new Jeff.
Mac Kenzie loves the DoS, those who believe differently are deceived. I love the DoS, there are many here who love this sport and community but there are too many here that care for nothing more for a title and their spot in the history books. I say if ye dinna contribute to the betterment of the community, then ye dinna belong here.
As to Gimmzaks choice to stand up for Huma, it was his choice to make. Jeff if you would tell me that after you called him(Huma) a liar and someone who was unfit to hold a rank in the DoS, that you now would put the honor of your name on the line for him, I think you have you priorities out of order.
Summer, yuir are a good woman, the dwarf is a lucky one,
Percival, ye have yuir opinion on every thread in the DoS, perhaps ye could let the rest of us argue a bit and gi' yuirself a wee rest.
Morgan, While I don't agree with all ye ha'e tae say on occassion, I certainly admire yuir way of sayin them.

Bottom line here people is if you feel yuir right , fight for it, I know damn well I am goin too

Actually, Ian, I believe Gimm posted one time asking about it. Whether he wants to verify or correct me is up to him.
Why hasn't anyone asked? Maybe because they aren't threatened. I said that you sound like you are trying to invoke terror.
To answer you along with Evan, while the original intentions may not be that of a terrorist, the phrasing of intentions sounded like an attempt to invoke terror or to put on a threatening demeanor. I haven't heard anything about House Rising as of late, so I can't really say anything about them now.

Var:

Baron Stonecutter posted asking, in general, what the Amethyst Ring was all about.

If he didn't know ahead of time just exactly what his actions would set in motion, he should have discussed it directly. If he did, or if he had been asked and told directly, then he really has no reason to complain about his situation, having placed himself there.

If it is somehow wrong to state a policy which will lead to challenge toward a Baron for his own actions, then I will fully expect that NO dueler will ever again challenge for cause. Ever. Period. Otherwise, all this blather about the Amethyst Ring causing terror is mere piffle.

I would note to the rest of the community who have remained essentially silent, in a final defense of the very existence of the Amethyst Ring, that the objecting parties share an essentially common trait. Perhaps, in examining that, the community as a whole will see that the Amethyst Ring does, indeed, serve a noble purpose here.

Cygnet eyes Eros tapping his toes and offers him a smile.

"Maybe we should all tap our toes and dance a jig, hmm? Couldn't hurt."

The angel wiggles her toes and loops her arm thru the gnomes, then after a little whirl, then slips her arm through the Overlords, a soft giggle heard as she begins to twirl him round.

I hardly think of the Amethyst Ring as being a "gang." If the Amethyst Ring truly was a "gang," I would not support it as I do now.

I will state again. I am not now nor will I ever, nor have I complained about where my actions have taken me.
I stand by what I have done. I stood for what I believe in. Some may call my a hypocrite.
I was created with free will, that free will allows me to change my mind. There is no sin in that.
I have never made my political stance regarding intercession known. I , in fact, never had one untill after Dalamar stepped in for me. I never spoke publicly about it because of all the BS that was going one. Well, I am making my feelings known now. I am neutral, but I don't agree with the Intercession.

Seamus, as ye requested here's yer reply...

I have served: Athlstan, Alais, Leto, Kalamere, Dalamar, and Marzan.

Only one of da previously listed has on *4* occassions been so drunk he has publically accused me of cheating in two different sports.

I don't like Marzan, many know of it, but I don't want ta be Overlord either. However, it is a perfect time fer me ta express beliefs I've held dear all along. I've always enjoyed bein' a part of da political scene, it will never change, yer just seein' me on da other side of da fence dis time around.

Marzan is a sloppy drunk of an Overlord. He may be honorable, he may care a lot about DoS, but on 4 occassions he has burned hatred inta me heart tryin' ta publically humiliate me and I shall *never, ever* fergive him again. I fergave 3 offenses, I gave him 4 strikes. He's out.

Jeffery,
I do appreciate your honesty. I knew ye would nae pull yuir punches.
As for yuir reasons, not that it matters, I find them valid if they indeed are based in fact. I am not questioning the validity of yuir statements either.
I was once told we are to forgive 70 times 7 but I find I cannae do tha' either.
Perhaps in this you will be able to understand the change of heart displayed by those of us who did change our alignment under the last overlord. I too enjoyed the " political scene" and perhaps this ring of Mac Kenzie's will be my way of stayin active in the affairs of the DoS. That is provided I dinna gather a few wins and come back to argue as a peer.

Gim,
I too had free will when I held the ring, and let me tell you this, when I exercised it all hell broke loose in the loyal camp. Interesting no?
I wish you luck in your political future.
