Typical woman type of response, Sara.

Make statements like calling others 'boys" and we'd be glad to show you who your daddy is, lass.

Mr. Ecore,
Just what "others" do you think I'm referring to? Perhaps those that think they can show me who my daddy is?

If that's how you feel, Mr. Ecock, then bring it on.

Typical type of male pig response E, telling a young lass that you'll show her who her daddy is. Sounds like a pedophiliac little statement there eh? A little Freudian slip? Also, who is "We"? I dont think I'm her daddy. And if ya are her daddy maybe you could clear some things up for her. I've never disliked you E, but I think you're lacking in some manners and some decency since you're talking to a 11 year old
girl. For God's sake, its not like she attacked anyone. Leave it to one of our highest ranking warlords to pick on the children.

Sincerely,
Sir Father Leo Caius Cassius Pride

Ms Sara,

Please accept my apologies in the statement I made to you. I did not realize you were a young girl of such young age. My statements were way out of line, but the statements you make as a young lady were unbecoming as well. If you want to play with the grownups on this board and speak like one, then be prepared to deal with whatever responses may come your way.

And regardless, as soon as I get out of my little funk and slump of my recent return to dueling and get back into prime shape, I'll be glad to show anyone who their daddy is around here.

Gnort, luv... I did read the responses.
But the fact that many are willing to *after the fact* say that they tried to work with Tim doesn't change the way he was actually treated both in the arena, and on these boards......

I'm glad you read the responses, Khrys, but you misunderstand.

Tim was treated with respect. Which has been determined to be a waste of time. People tried to help him, but he was unwilling to try. Thus, he remains marked as an idiot, such as he deserves. And anyone who might try to teach him any furter would simply be wasting their time. ::he shrugs:: Just my opinion.

On a footnote, Tim and I had a deal made on Honor. A deal in which, against my better judgement, I gave him teh benefit of the doubt. Not 24 hours later he was telling me, not requesting, but telling me he was changing the conditions.

Then there was the duel I accepted with him in the Arena. And at that time, he also had a Duel in the TDL. Running back and forth from the Arena to the TDL Arena to duel both opponents.

From that moment on, I will not have anything to do with one so wretchedly pathetic and dishonorable, disrespectful, and other colorful metaphors which cannot be spoken here.

If you feel he is worth your time to teach, I pity you, for you're wasting your valueable time. He is worth Nothing.

Hey! I've an idea! Lets find every rude and insulting loudmouth in the arena and treat em with respect!

That way, when the new duelists arive, they'll learn quickly how much we like blowhards around here.

As for teaching, being taught by a snert breeds a whole team of snerts. I'm sure we'd all love to see that. After all, Methous was such a big hit in the arena, why not breed twenty more like him? Certainly would liven up the boards wouldn't it?

or...we could actually agree that there should be some semblance of decorum in this sport.

There are a few in this sport who respect me. Fewer still who I really give a rip whether they respect me or not. Respect is meaningless if you toss it around to every lazy shiftless brat who walks in the door thinking the whole world owes them a favor.

Alyx,
Your words are very thoughtful indeed, you have earned my respect, good lord. May the sun shine everyday for you and may the nights bring you peace. May you live a long and prosperous life, and may your days to come be as enjoyable as the arena's attitude when you step in these halls. I salute you!

How's that?
Teasingly,

Var Medici-Giovanni

After the fact? Actually, i were one of the first ta try ta take him in, show him how ta get by in Swords without fighting every last person. Actually, I tried twice, and both times it were like trying ta cool a hot flame by touching it. Nae disrespect ta ye, but I gave it me best, and stand by me effort. The fact that Tim chose nae ta accept it were nae up ta me; I could only offer me best effort.

With due respect ta the community of Swords,

Ok. I just wanted to say that the school I thought was a good idea. And another thing. When I opened the school Tim just decided to make it his idea and I allowed him to join me in my efforts; after all any help is welcome. The last thing I wanted to do is start some kind of feud or whatever this bickering is. I was kinda wondering what the newbies reading these posts would think of it.

I beleive I am in good standing with every dueler that enters the arena. I treat all with respect ... well except maybe Agrenish and he would prefer it that way. I would request that if were gonna bicker like this please don't put it on a message meant for new duelers tryin ta learn.
