Cassius,
Don't be...how can I put this...rash. Sasha *did* answer the question, maybe you didn't read it. And I'm willing to bet that Jona would duel Drake, but who am I to make assumptions? But that's for them to decide, anyway. So may even go so far as to ask why you didn't fight Gunthar...don't take that the wrong way though..

Cas,
Its an all new low fer ya, I didn't believe it was possible fer ya ta prove yer stupidity twice in one post. First ya totally ignore da facts dat Jona asked ta fer a sub or ta be subbed because she was tryin' ta avoid conflict, secondly ya act as if Jona and Drake duelin' will solve anything. How exactly is Jona duelin' Drake gonna solve ANYTHING. On da flip side of Jona avoidin' Drake, Drake could very well have stepped up against Jona. When
Jona's in da arena, she's not all about duelin', when yer smart enough ta recognize it, let us all know will ya? Jona gets her fill up duels in TDL, and she does damn well (5-1), so get a life Cas.

And who might ye be spitefully referrin' ta? I'm quite use ta ya fightin' with Jona, but ya certainly couldn't be referrin' ta her since Athlstan's post *supported* Jona's point. So, m'lady, who should avoid brown nosin'?

Four disses in a row? I thought when I did three fancy disses in a duel one time that it was pretty dumb. Wait, actually, it was.
Anyways, Jona and Drake have plenty of time to "take it to the ring" if they want to. Apparently, they don't want to. It's apparent they're happy writing words back and forth. I know the feeling of that. After all, I'm one who doesn't like the philosophy "take it to the ring".

Gnort,
You mean to say you don't care that when you eat meat, it means that an innocent little animal has been slain?
Oh, and before as Gnort said, someone jumps on this somehow...I was kidding.

Magnus,

Your response is exactly the low minded stupidity I expected to receive regarding my statement. I say I like meat and you go and read all sorts of things into it like it means something. Do yourself a favor and skitter off under the rock you crawled out from under.

Chortling softly hearing the grumbling, pens a note.
Ath,
Miscreant? Thee? Yuir in grand company, fer the most part, neh?
Jona
Laughs softly overhearing Sidartha's usual less than intelligent mutterings.
PS: Madame Elgarette, do see to having thine dyslexia tended, afore thee fall upon thine face, again.
PPS: Lucian, wouldst thee Mount Bane or Mount Whitmore be our leaping point or hae thee another scenic cliff in mind?
PPPS: Madame Silvertree, thee presupposes thee hae the wit to e'en manage a single hidden meaning in thine jottings. That thee wouldst believe thee couldst manage a thousand such ist nigh onto the most amusing thing thee hae writ of late. Buck up, lassie, there ist one thing about which thee canst certes crow. Tis the "Drake Clause" amendment.
Slides a sassy wink to Lucian as she steps away from the cork.

Of course, you accuse Jona of cheating. The only person who cheated was Cygnet who was stupid enough to cheat herself and her team by dissing four times in a row.
You want to blame anyone, blame Cygnet for being the bad teammate. She had a chance of winning, but she threw it. She cheated herself and her team, so lay the blame on her for that.

Matron Sasha
Never once did I say "might makes right". Those words did not leave my mouth once. I can't say who would win that matchup...anyone can win at any given time. I was merely laying out
a suggestion that these two could meet in the ring, and since is a bloodsport, that *does* count for something. matron, I did not wish to enter into a war of words, and never once have I insulted you, and never once will I. I merely made a suggestion, and it seems as if everyone has jumped on my back. So I'll back off

Jaycy places a copy of her response on the cork, right under Dex's original offer.
Quite simply, no thank you.
While I thank you for the effort of finding me a challenger, I cannot accept this "offer." I did state in my letter I believed a Baron should be challenged until they are either removed, or regain the 15 wins over losses. As the second has in fact been fulfilled, it would seem this is a matter of too little, too late.
It would seem, Dex, that you have not offered me a chance to redeem myself, but offered yourself a win / win situation. Should I accept it, you not only are free from this challenge, but you could very well fall under the grace period for the next Warlord Tourney, thus unable to receive challenge until that is ended. And should I accept this offer and lose against this Warlord, not only would you have me out of the way, but you would be able to
accept challenges from others before I could return to challenge, and if you were removed, I would have no reason.
Should I decline this offer, I could be perceived as challenging for my own selfish reasons and "ducking" an "honorable" attempt on your behalf toward my redmption in the eyes of the general public.
I may have made a mistake, I may have made an unpopular decision, but I stand by this challenge, because it was issued because I believed something; and I still do. You probably don't know me too well, so I will say this. Once moved to action I will not back down.
Should I lose, I'll expect challenge notice from the Warlord in question Friday. Should I win, I'll expect notice from said Warlord either when the next standings are posted or when it is first possible, should the posting of the next standings fall under the 24 day grace period before the Warlord Tourney.
I'll see you Thursday.
