Stuff it, Quizxs, you're noone and never will be. I never claimed to be mature. Besides, it seems that all you low class, mindless pinheads seem to understand is immaturity.

So excuse me if I lower myself to your levels so you all can understand me.

I hate you.

Jesse,

Let me think a moment here. You dueled for the Short Swords in the TDL last season, no? Seems so to me.

Well, G, you were once a "nobody" when you first stepped in the ring. We all were perceived as that.
But the thing that does confuse me... You said you never claim to consider yourself mature, yet you are saying in the next paragraph that you have to "lower yourself to immaturity" so people can understand you. Is there a place between maturity and immaturity I'm not aware of?
With all due respect, G, but this is a pretty bad ego trip you've got. Maybe it's the term "low class" and "lower myself so you all..." For some reason, I just picture a rabbit spitting some gunk out that snakes use to blind those trespassers.
Oh well. I know what to expect in return. This will be fun.

No, Var, you dont know what to expect from me.

I've simply had it with trying to be the nice guy who caters to people to try and make it a place where we can all get along. -Noone- truly is heard unless insults and such are thrown about, so, If I have to lower myself to be a jerk, so be it.

You don't have to like it, and I don't care what you or anyone thinks about me anymore. If you truly know me, you get the real me. If I am irritated over some things, or alot of them, you get the irritated responses that are spoken in ways that these feebs can understand.

I'm done fighting, I'm done being the "Good, Nice, Friendly G" that people knew from the old days.

Screw it all. I've had it. I don't care. And if someone says something to me, I'll insult them however I see fit. If you insult me back, fine, I'll still insult you. I don't care.

Know what though, Var, old friend?

Common truth.

"There is absolutely -Nothing- anyone can do about it."

I've accepted it. Deal with it.

Nuff said.

I hate you.

Having noticed Gnort's posted remarks, Janella reads them, smiling darkly.

"Eventually, they'll all come to bloody see it, eh?" The fighter laughed.

"Same flies, different dung."

A moment later, Janella growled, muttering, "Ugh, same dung, different flies!"

She stormed off, cursing.

You know I just wrote a huge long post, and then deleted it simply for the reason, none of you really understand. That's what's wrong with this community at large overrun by a bunch of new school attitudes. It's unfortunate that the majority of you have made so many old schoolers sick of this place with how you act that they didn't stick around
to teach. Sara is a prime example of a power dueler who is so absorbed with her own selfish desires and her dueling career she care's not a wit about this community. Common place now.

I simply give up trying to fight the cause anymore, because none of you care to listen. None of you really care about the community. Even if Sara did beat Gim, she would never have my respect, even if she defended her ring a thousand times for the next 10 years. Why? Simply because she is selfish in her desire to jump the stepping stones to power without proving the individual she is. This has nothing to do with her being a child, or a woman,
it has to do with the fact she is rushing to get a title.

If she wins this challenge, she won't be a little girl anymore, she'll end up being the whore of the Baron's Council. So line up guys and spank the little girl back down to Commoner, because she deserves it and everyone else who persues their dueling careers like this.

Ask not what the Swords community can do for you, but what you can do for the Swords community.

Her doing this only further hurts the festering puss wound that has become the rings over the last couple of years.

Ecore,
While it's all easy to blame everything on "new duelers", there are many reasons others have left. Idiocy does not come from new duelers, but it comes from some old duelers as well. If you truly believe otherwise, then I guess all I can do is shrug and wait for the revelation to fall upon you.
But you know what? When I first got ten peer wins, I challenged Daegarth. My challenge was invalid because stupid me didn't send the peer wins to Golden, who was, at the time, standings keeper. I'll be the first to say that I screwed up with that challenge issued about a year and a half ago.
My later challenges: Adonai, Evan, Leto, Agrenish, and Drakewyn all came when I obtained ten peer wins. If you wish to condemn all who challenge as soon as they get ten peer wins, then I'm condemned.
If you truly wish to slap me back to commoner status because of how I have challenged, then all I can do is stand ready. I plan to do what I think is right regardless.
On a final note, however, everything is truly a two way street. If you treat newcomers with hostility and call them "whores of the baron's council" then you're due to get some pretty ticked off duelists roaming the arena. It's their fault for not trying, as it's your (generally speaking) fault for not trying. That's what it boils down to.

Var,

Everyone has ta earn deir stripes against da remainin' veterans. When I was new ta DoS, I shot up ta Warlord in 3 weeks, had 10 peer wins by da end of my first month and challenged. After I became baron I was tested by Lupton over and over merely fer da fact I didn't have much experience about what it was ta be baron, but I'll tell ya...I learned fast. When I first read E's post my initial reaction was "Yer right, but a bit too harsh", but maybe
its not so bad, might be a wake up call fer da little girl dat not all of us take da rings so lightly as fun tests of one's skill.

Sara,

If ya wanna prove yerself, keep duelin' and rack up some wins of losses, we got tons of great duelers here fer ya every night. If ya wanna get inta politics, make sure ya know what yer doin' first. Lastly, if its da ring and rank ya want, ya aren't ready ta be a baroness.

Well, This is just the reason I haven't posted anything about my match. It's intresting to sit back and watch everyone bicker and argue over this.

It goes like this. I've had this ring for a few months now, I've been challenged and defended a few times as well. IN every challenge I escaped the bickering that seems to follow most challenges, except when Adonai challenged me way back.

Let me assure you all this, It wouldn't matter if Loki, or a chipmunk stepped into that ring with me, I give my best EVERY time I duel. Just because my current oppnent is eleven years old doesn't mean I have to go easy or duel below my usual level. She knows the risks, some have said she's beaten some of the best. Great, wonderfull, I look forward to the match.

Thank you Topaz for your support, I shall carry it with me unto the match.

If you can make one post without an insult, I might deem you worthy of an argument. Until then, I think of you as an immature, prejudiced, close-minded person who I shall not waste my time dealing with...

Oh, and I once respected you.....
