I just figured it out! You've watched too much pro wrestling, so now you're trying to "take a heelturn!"

<<Sara is a prime example of a power dueler who is so absorbed with her own selfish desires and her dueling career she care's not a wit about this community.>>

Get over it. It's about dueling, it's about fighting, it's about ranks. The only ones who should think of the preservation of our supposed "community" are those who by the same token show respect and acceptance to all... welcome to the 5-person community, of which you aren't a member.

Quizxs
Whoops! Just changed my mind... there is no community.

Immature? I can live with that. Everyone I come across in DoS is immature as well. So I'm the norm.

Predjudiced? Who isn't. Everyone you meet is predjudiced anyway so I don't seem to find the signifigance in that statement. If you say you're not predjudiced, then I call you straight out a liar.

Closed minded? No, anyone who really knows me can tell you that I am quite open to thoughts and such. I have and probably still will take time to teach or educate someone who I deem worthy -In My Eyes- Noone elses. My opinion of people is my business. But I have always given everyone the benefit of the doubt, no matter how often I've been burned.

As for making posts without insults, well, I've done that countless times in the past. Countless. I've never been heard. So, the hell with it.

Well, it's nice that you respected me, once. But you don't know me. You've never personally taken the time to know me or what I'm about. Same as I haven't taken the time to know you, either. And you know what?

I just found this out recently.

Respect doesn't get you anywhere around here. It gets tossed around like it's supposed to mean something, and in reality, it's just a word that is used to mean one thing, but the person who says it does entirely different.

So be it. I don't have the patience anymore to be the kind of guy everyone wants to see. So, I am going to be the guy I fee comfortable with. I'm going to be the guy who will tell you exactly what I think of you.

And there's nothing anyone can do about it. So live with it.

(All you's were generic in the closing statements.)

I hate you.

Again, you know nothing about me. I don't watch Pro-wrestling. Frankly, wrestling is wrestling. And I am unaware of any places in Rhydin to watch such events.

HeelTurn? No. This is just me.

This cork is the most impersonal and dehumanizing form of communication I have ever witnessed.

How dare any of you expect this girl to follow any of your advice when you insult her by not even making the effort to contact her on a more personal level?

She's 11 years old. She should be babysat, in grade school, or out playing with her friends. Not dueling with sharp objects.

If you have a child, I tell you to give your kid a Sharp Knife from your kitchen. You tell me you're safe with it so I can call you a liar.

No way in hell I'm going to give my 4 year old son anything sharp to play with until he's at least 16.

Children have no place in the Dueling Ring.

Anyone who says otherwise is an irresponsible parent.

Get off the past already. This is PRESENT. Meaning not then, but now. Not a year or 6 ago, now. Get used to it or leave already and stop pouting.

Personally, I'd call you the biggest idiot and juvenile man of a barons council. But, you're not a baron, so you're the most juvenile warlord.

Gentles

If the youngster wishes ta step inta the ring agin the Baron, well and good. If she gets her guts ripped out by the Baron, tis she canna say she wast nae aware tis a blood sport. If her parents or guardian or what e'er passes fer her family hae nae anna difficulty with an eleven year old wielding steel, that be well and good ast well.

To the young Sara,

A query, lassie? Wouldst apprise the community of thine reasons fer believing thee wouldst be worthy ta seek a Barons Ring, beyond that thee hae merely earned thine bona fides? What dost believe thee canst bring nae only ta the community ast a whole but ta the Council shouldst thee best the Baron?

::thinks then writes::

Like Var, I've gained 10 PWs and challenge..well not exactly ten, I always waited until I've had 12 or 13 just in case and then I challenge..Seamus, Damon, and Adonai respectively. The first time, with Seamus it was to see if I was able to live up to the responsibilities of being a Baron, I believe I wasn't as he soundly defeated me. The second time, with Damon, was because I believe the Seventh is the ring richest in history of the DoS (this is an
opinion) so I wanted to add my name to a list I respected. Everyone knows why I challenged Adonai..so I won't go into it.
That brings me to another point, this
girl is eleven, I've dueled her and she's won..call it being easy on her, or what you want..but for gods sakes..this is liable to start the "Children Dueling" fiasco all over again. I have no problem with children dueling, but do any of you think..truthfully..that Sara can handle the pressures of being a Baroness? Some people are one-hundred-and-eleven (not really, exampling) and can't handle it. I'm just stating that she may not be
ready for a ring, my opinion though..however invaluable it is. That being said:

Stonecutter,
Duel well...and win, my blessings shall be with you.

Mrs. Starfare,

If you wish to talk to me, just come see me. I don't enjoy trying to talk to individuals on this board. I don't think that's what they are there for. And this goes for anyone else, of course.

Happy dueling!

When I first challenged Errol Faline, I had been a Warlord maybe a few weeks and had around 15 Peer Wins. Our challenge was fought in one of the first weeks of the cycle, so when I lost, I had all cycle to gather Peer Wins. By the end of that cycle, I had about 60 or so (Yes, I did duel a lot at one time).

Anyway, after that cycle had passed, I found that I neither wanted nor needed to challenge right away again. I had realized that there was so much more to holding the title than just having the necessary Peer Wins and Wins Over Losses. I did end up challenging and garnering my first Baronial ring shortly after, but I had a much better idea of the history behind the rings and what would be required of me, as a Baron, by this time.

The point I'm trying to make is simply that the longer one is part of the community, the better they understand what is required of a Baron. I can honestly say that I am glad Errol defeated me in that challenge match, because in that period I spent dueling , I learned so much just by sitting in the Arena and listening to the duelists speak with one another.

If the challenger thinks she is ready to take over a role as a leader in the community, I wish her the best, but I personally think she, or anyone for that matter, should give serious thought to what they do or do not know about the community they wish to be role models withinin before completely committing to a challenge match.

What the 'what' boils down to is that everyone who screams bloddy death-like rape, are whiners. "ooh... this place is bad... ooh I'm angry... ohh I'm depresed and lonely."

What's funny is that none of you people have anything to do with this challenge except the brat and the dwarf. Everyone else sounds like broken shards of glass running down a chalkbaord... itchy and amusing, seeing everyone cring and attack it.
