Ecore,
Instead o' harrassing others about yer challenge, get yer wins and challenge someone yerself, and then talk. Just some advice ye yerself taught me, in another time. Donnae take this ta mean I nae respect ye, I do. But please, back yerself up with actions. Don't think, do, as ye hae said ta me on various occasions.

Sara,
You know I think you are too young to hold a ring in these halls, and your answer to Lady Jonalyn's question further exemplifies that, so do not hold it against me that I wish the ring to rest on Gimmzak's finger.
Gimm,
Go out there and get it done. You've been a Baron in these halls for many months now and in my eyes have remained just in what you do. I wish you luck and hope the ring remains with you.

Ah bugger that!
Beat his pants off, Sara! You're damn right you're good enough. Go out and prove it while these saps sit on their laurels and whine about how they can't cut it against the kids anymore.
Get it done, Sara, get it done!

Yuir good enough fer what? Tis mine infermation that yuir eleven years old, lassie. I hae three bairns nigh thine age. Perhaps thee wouldst ponder a bit afore thee reply. Thou art seeking a titled rank, which should thee gain it shall carry certain responsibilities. The simple fact that thee hae wielded blade and earned thine bona fides to present challenge, nae withstanding, hast thou some reason for seeking title and in particular seeking to
obtain the Eleventh Ring other than mayhap the coincidence that the number happens to match thine age? Tis a verra simple question, lass. I am nae asking thee to pen a philosophical dissertation on the workings of the universe.
Cordially,

Mrs. Starfare,
Please excuse me for misunderstanding what you asked of me. It's just that you first asked me my "reasons for believing thineself worthy," and now you've asked me my "reason for seeking title." I said in my first missive in which I alerted the community of my challenge that, if I should win, I hope to give the ring a more active status. Baron Gimzak has not been around for as long as I can remember, and I feel the ring deserves a stronger
presence in the arena. That's all.
Respectfully,
Sara E

Actually don't take this the wrong way but,
Gimm has been around...much longer than you have I may add. Just because he doesn't duel in the Arena frequently doesn't mean he isn't "active". He "Actively" participates in things he needs to do such as in the Council. This reason is pretty flawed if you ask me..but then again, no one asked me. Besides Sara, I
don't see you in the Arena some nights that I am there...can it possibly be that ::gasps:: Gimm comes around when your not there? No..that can't be it can it? I mean you've been around for more than enough time to meet everyone.

I don't understand why everyone feels like they have to stop me from challenging. Here is the whole, entire, gigantic reason I challenged: because it's fun. Dueling is fun. I enjoy it. It's an exciting sport, and I like taking part in it.
Back at school, lots of girls take part in a group sport called soccer. They kick a ball around and try to score it into their opponent's net, to put it simply. Now, if they happen to win a championship, they receive a gorgeous trophy and the opportunity to defend that trophy, usually in the championship match, next season. There, no one gives them heck for doing what they like.
Now, I'm sure you're rolling your eyes saying that a baronial ring is different. But how, just because I get to take part in the Baron's Council? And how bad would that be if I did? What could the worst possible consequence be if I made a bad decision, given the type of issues the Council has to vote on, with twelve others at most to vote against my choice? Besides, how much respect should I expect to get from the other barons anyways? My guess
is somewhere close to none.
I actually thought Baron Gimzak might appreciate a challenge. When was the last time he was challenged anyways? It's been a while, I know, and if I were him I'd be hungry for a good duel right about now. And it can't get much better than defending your right to wear that ring.
I shall continue this challenge through to the end. I don't plan on winning, I plan on dueling my best. I even--uh oh--plan on challenging for a ring each cycle, per my right, not with the intentions of winning one, but for the pure fun of it. Unless I "unfortunately" win a ring, then I can just hope for challenges to me...anyways. You can give yourself a headache trying to stop me. I really don't care. In a communal attempt, you can stop me all
together. Then you can sit back savoring the fact that you robbed a girl of her childhood excitement all because of the envy you accumulated when you allowed yourself to lose yours.
::sighs, stretching out and bending the fingers of her writing hand::
One more thing I don't undestand is how everyone can write so much. My hand's sore already...

::steps back, looking over past missives and talking to herself::

>>Can I ask a question...didn't you just say that you challenged to give the
11th a more active role? Now it's for fun<<
Baron Dragonsblade,
If you read my first message in which I alerted the community of my challenge, you'll see that the first reason I stated for challenging was for the thrill, the fun. Giving the ring a more active role was only "should I win." If people would read more closely, then they wouldn't confuse me and have me say things diffently so they can twist it around and cause all this unnecessary stuff. Any more questions?
I don't know why you think I have something against you. It seemed that you had something against me, so I responded with the same attitude. It's good to see you're having some fun.
