~~ Through, over, or across ~~

Qualmish -- pierced, it might be labeled a great deal of things as Mimi thought to go searching her blood sister. On way, when she small Tavern she was staying at a few villages from Rhydin -- the convulsions had started again.

Dark visions, blood rites and two sapphire stones. Played the pawn again, fate took her away from seeking the one she had to have words with, someone vital to "means for her end." Confused, yes Mimi lingered in a state of confusion. Since her return no one knew -- no knew what she returned from, yet did it matter? It did not. Fact remained, she had returned home. No purpose, but the "Pawn."

She found herself returning to the Arena. Silently she made entrance, assessing work from the five nights passed --a circle of her own blood that trickled in the pattern for passage sake. In part of visions, she held it was true -- the deed was set to action, for the sake of what was to be. Now further pressing to finish what had begun, Mimi quietly moved near the bar area and knelt beside to draw two circles again. Bloodied digit traced that
pattern with drops of her own blood and madness.

She would not know the omen, which would be the first. She only sought that might come -- that which could prove to aid her cause. Sapphire gazed up and there was the dwarf. Simply speaking his name, he declined. He declined to even acknowledge her, because -- well it was because…..

Hard pressed, deadpan -- one might even say teetering on the verge of madness, she called him. "Jeffrey." The poor dwarf was somewhat taken back by the passive that called to him. He came and the question posed… "What do you think of the splitting?" His answer came quickly in agreement. This first, the very first it was confirmed. Her road had yet two more to confirm the visions she held.

Obtusely words did follow in brief conversation to the dwarf, he was confused -- but right then she could not speak purpose of meaning. Death would surely come. She hurried away from the Arena for a time only to return.
