Lucian sat quietly on his bed within the Oakenshield Manor. Many ideas were racing in his mind and he sat in quiet meditation, regarding the glittering Baron's Ring. What was to become of his career, his life? He knew that soon, very soon, he would have to return to England and perhaps the coast of France on.. business. Should he take matters with haste now, in case there was no time later? Perhaps instead he
should just wait, and let fate choose its own course..
