I, Eros Hunrai Marzanhe DeBurgo do accept the Challenge to The Eighth Ring of Swords, first held by Lord Elijah Bas-Ur and last held by Baron Jeffery OakenShield. You seek to place your name on a list of Honor.

Warlord Methous, you have called my wife and all women "crazy broads who are usless to try to reason with." This one is for Honor, and I am coming for you with a very sharp sword. The Overlord shall, also, and we will defend the Halls of Swords from being tainted with shame.

One of these women, Methous, shall be The Lady Vanessa Thorne. She will call the duel at 9 pm by the Eastern Moon in the Annex.

I duel for the Honor of my Lady.... My wife, my love, my strength, my whole heart, The Lady Mystik DeBurgo.

I duel for my coming daughter, Andromeda. I ask you brothers and sisters to pray that she will have a life filled with love and happiness.

My Second shall be The 34th and reigning Overlord of Swords,
Lord Overlord Zen Rising.

I shall duel with my Bloodsword created by my beloved wife. The name of this Sword is MystikNights.... magical as the Night, and as magic as the nights I spend by Mysty's side. Baby, I will love you forever.

I now offer as my colors the completed Banner of the 29th Overlord of Swords. Three Stars, One Black, One Red, One Gold.... Representing the Three conquered Crowns of the the Three Dueling Empires; Swords, Fists and Magic. These stars lay on a White Background, and The word "Triple" floats between the Stars.

I duel for the memory of the Overlord Lord Dalamar Ar'Daumon. My his soul rest in peace.

I duel for the Elven Kingdoms of Lothlorien and Eldicor.

I duel in Salute to the Kingdoms of Questrion and Atrebla.

I duel in Honor of Shogun Miyamoto.

I duel in salute to House OakenShield and Dragoon-Talanador.

I duel for the Honor of The House of Swords.

Nova Grey Shadow reads over the acceptance letter a bit slower than he normally would, occasionally repeating passages to himself.

He looks away from the boards, left and right. Construing that the Overlord will be stepping in from the wording of the message, he shakes his head before shrugging and scribbling onto a small sheet of paper:

"Go Rookie I never heard of."

Slap goes the aging dueler's hand against his forehead over this whole challenge; the prime reason he requested reinstatement. Shake goes the warlord's head as Dalamar's name is thrown around. Wrinkle goes the elven's nose as he learns it will reproduce. Scribble goes the former mercenary's hand as he pens a short note.

With any luck the ceiling above the ring will collapse somewhere around the third round. That's just about the best possible outcome I can see for this one.

Seeing as I was taught the art of the duel under Lord Elijah i take a special interest in the eighth ring. It appears we have the gentleman and proud husband DeBurgo recieveing the challenge of Methous, whom i might note faced me in his first or second duel of swords, it went something like 5-2 meth, I think. I cannot decide who who favor. So I shall probably hope for the possibility of the cieling collapsing also,
with the Baron and challenger buried under the remains of the rubble, so we may have a tournament for the eighth.

To all who wish my husband luck, honor and skill in this challenge, I thank you. Those of you who hold other sediment, my thanks for your honesty. The invitation was sent to extend welcome to all who wish to attend and witness this challenge. Nae call to sides was asked, but that of a joining of the community to witness this event within the community we all work to protect,build, treasure and enjoy.
I've no words for my husband's challenger save that he attempt to duel with honor and a measure of decorum.

Considering Meth actually said "One down one to go" when I lost the 7th, this is quite amusing..if Eros teaches him the lesson of his life...then that would be great..but what if that one that went down got back up...*Gasp* No it couldn't be huh Meth? This is seriously strange...I have no idea what to do, frankly I've given up hope on you..so I'm not going to say anything about you for hear on out..the community at large
does enough of that, and no matter how much you anger me..I'm not going to wrestle with it anymore. So I'll say this:

Skill and Honor to you both, yes I said both, and may the better dueler win..
