::scowls noticeably as she scans the cork, muttering to herself about a lack of honor within the halls::
Tis truly a sad state of affairs when the sulliness of the whole challenge riles even the mild tempered. Seems that many here now deem the 8th ring to be of tarnished reputation because of the actions of a few. I know neither defender or challenger and no wish to, but I have known the ones that have wore the ring over the years. It seems wrong to not even try to gather back the honor of the ring because of the actions of a few. I for one cannot stand
by and remain quiet any longer. Never before have I challenged merely cause I did not wish to become embroiled in the varied politicking of the realms, but it seems that my return to RhyDin has been fortuitous enough to now remain and seek what I will. Nae matter the turnout and who bears the ring at the end of this horrid turn of events...Methous....the ring will not stay your finger....Aspen either..whoever it falls to.
Honor shall be restored
Regarding the 8th Ring. A letter to the Council

Lupton, I thank you for showing me the error of my ways!
Aspen...my friend.
my apologies for my mistake.

At least Billy seems to have the right idea.
Maybe I've been around Jesse to much, but it seems to me that with more than a hundred highly trained swordsman there would be at least one person around to just kick this guy's butt once and for all and get it over with.
I'll do it myself if I have to, but if it came down to someone as low ranking as me having to be called in to slap around a baron, then rest assured I'll spend the rest of my days making fun of everyone above me who didn't have what it takes to take out the trash.
It's real simple: somebody beat the snot out of this guy. Should've been done months ago, but everyone kept whining and blubbering about giving people chances. Bah, he had a chance, he screwed it up. Everyone shocked? Now can someone kick his tail out through the back of his head please?
