The Arena is empty at this time of day. Not many people around, even less thinking about dueling. Nova enters through the old entrance from the Red Dragon Inn, taking the stairs two at a time until reaching the bottom. A few steps later, he stands before the corkboard, tacking a single sheet of paper up which reads:
"To whom it may concern,
A missive to inform you all of my retirement from the Warlord rankings. Effective with the issuance of next Thursday's Standings (on or about the 20th of November), I will no longer be counted among the Warlords. Should I now or ever choose to continue dueling, my record will not be reclaimed.
Sincerely,
Nova Grey Shadow"
Nova slowly takes a few steps back from the board; not knowing what should or should not be added to the missive, he turns and makes his way back up the stairs before someone decides to stop in and critique it or question him on it. Moving back through the early dinner crowds of the Inn and out into the waning daylight, he closes yet another chapter of his life behind him.

I guess it's only fitting that you run from DoS, especially after your little temper-tantrum about how the Warlord Tournament wasn't fair, probably because you lost your first and only duel. Amazing, everyone else had to duel under the same conditions, but they sucked it up when they lost and didn't stand there whining to Clo. Poor NovaShayde, gets beat some new Warlord, then announces "I am retiring". Thinking about it, yes, I agree, Retire!
