To the Duel of Swords Supervisor, Goldendust Evermeadow:

Even though not every Baron has responded, along with the complication of the changing of one seat, a majority has been reached in the decision as to who should administer the test to Methous.

With a majority of seven votes on the current council of twelve, the Baron's Council has appointed Jeffrey Oakenshield its champion to test Methous.

Please understand something... The council is not some parent who will wipe your chin for you. Our duty was to decide upon a champion, and Jeff was the one decided upon.
It is not our responsibility to schedule a match when you and Jeff are very much capable of doing such yourselves.
If I am wrong (I am sure I'll be corrected if I am), and we are supposed to decide on a date, then I will be extremely disappointed. I think it would be an insult to both the tested and the champion, as it would imply they are incapable of scheduling the match themselves.

Personally, I think the chap should be barred from entering the door. After all, he has shown himself repeatedly to be unable to appreciate the chances he has been given in the past. Why give him any more? I hope Jeff kills him.
