Hmm lemme see might as weel do some predictions since we got the matchups.

Dustin vs. Cory....Two new warlords I'll go with Dustin and the small ewtra amount of expereince

Jesse vs. Xyclone...It's Jesse enough said

Damien vs. Dave Strosnider...Hmm tough call should be a good match. I'll go with Damien though.

Cas vs. Rix....Cas has been on a break should be interesting to see if it pays off. I don't think it will Rix gets this one.

Ariadne vs. Qwendolen....ok I'll go with my ex-captian Ariadne just cause she has been doing good lately.

Drey vs. Gwydion...I'll go with my teammate here in Drey he may be cocky, but he can get it done.

Jeff vs. Lily King...Oakernaught vs. who?....maybe I'm just no around enough but Jeff should have this easy

Xeric vs. Lexi Babe....Lexi's been gone awhile maybe rusty maybe fresh. I'm going with fresh and the win for Lexi

Gray vs. In remains.....Gray's good the other guy his name escapes me right now. I think Gray gets this though he's been doing god lately.

Huma vs. Baph the whatever.....Huma and the cattle prod or stinky sock aren't needed here as he grabs a win.

Leo vs. PainIsland.....this one is tough to call I'm going with Pain here.

Kaene vs. Gunthar.....Gunthar's been struggling lately so I give this to Kaene

Karen vs. Robert.....Robert is a streaky duelist and I don;t think he's gonna iwn it all so Karen's gonna win this.

Tarl vs. Reod.....eh Tarl had been struggling but he's back on track and he's gonna grab a win here.

Well that's my picks I know most of you will disagree especially if I picked against you. Hey that's the way in life though.

Phantom,
I believe Jeff's first round opponent is former baron General Perrinis Alabaster. I think he goes by Lily King and that what you meant.

Just clearing things up,
Dustin.

Huma,

Several people in teh Arena were yelling about how, in the past, the Tournement particulars weren't posted for all to see in recent years.

So, due to public outcrying, they've been placed for all to see once again.

Frankly, I like seeing them up there. Gives a sense of intrigue and excitement to see if who you bet on will win.

My calls...

>Lupton has the first bye
Lupton wins. =P

>Flavorless Gum
>vs
>XHavoickX
Hmm, tough one, cause both aren't that good. I'll go with Hav.

>JesseTroyn
>vs
>Xyclone
Xy hasn't been around, Jesse has. I'll say ringrust claims Xy and he drops to the loudmouth.

>Damien Mortis
>vs
>DAVESTRO
Dave is tough, Damien is well.. who knows, he's never dueled me. I say Dave wins cause he's got the edge in experience.

>Cas Maxim
>vs
>Verceterix Favre
This will be interesting to see. Cas does well in tournies, Rix does as well. Flip of the coin here said that it'll be Rix.

>Angeldst19
>vs
>QwendoIen Bryon
Angel duels about as well as she thinks and behaves. Qwen wins this one.

>Drey Starke
>vs
>LrdGwydion
Drey's good, and Gwydion I don't know. Drey's been struggling. I'll say Gwyd wins due to that reason.

>Jeff Oakenshield
>vs
>Lily King
Perri has been gone far too long. Jeff wins this easily as well.

>Xericmues
>vs
>XX LexiBabe XX
I like Lexi as much as the next guy, and Xeric has some issues. However, I don't personally feel Lexi's strong point as been dueling, so I'll go with Xeric to take this one.

>LrdGryHwk
>vs
>In remains
Both are enigmas to me. Grey'll win just cause I know him.

>HumaDragbn
>vs
>Baph the WarDrac
Baphe is a huge lizard. Huma is Huma. Baphe wins.

>PainIsland
>vs
>Leo De Lorenzo
K'yorl is annoying. Leo I don't know. Both seem to know how to duel. But K'yorl is so slow, so Leo'll win.

>Kaene the Black
>vs
>GuntherMas

I use a Hammer, so does Gunther. Kaene is not someone I know. So, I'll say Gunther wins.

>KarenWilder
>vs
>Knight7044
Karen I know. Robert I know. Karen talks funny, Robert is polite, in an odd way, I think. Both are tough. Another coin flip here.. Tails said that Robert'll win.

>Tarl Cab0t
>vs
>Reod Daii
Reod's tough, but then, so is Tarl. Tarl's been around longer. I'll go with EXP as Tarl wins.

These are just my little opinions... Good luck all

Dustin,

The former Baron, General Perrinis Alabaster goes by that name and nae that of Lily King. Methin's that be but perhaps a misnomer or some confusion upon yuir part, for tis perhaps what ist scribe upon the General's kiosk where in he may obtain missives sent unto him. Perhaps, ast a military man he prefers that missives and such be sent to a code name to possible thwart anna attempts at tracking him by anna what wouldst wish to perhaps cause him
anna difficulty.

Jonalyn,
What I was trying to point out was "Lily King" is his nickname. Now I am not sure if that's true or not, but I am pretty sure it is. Now in my original post I see what you are saying by saying I said his name was, Lily King, but that is not what I meant.

Dustin.

My lord, nobody is calling any upsets...

Dustin vs. the Havoick one (I always get the Havoick brothers mixed up) - Dustin should win this close one with a 1.5 point margin.

Jesse vs. Xy - Nice to see you back, Xy; unfortunately, dueling Jesse's not a very pleasant "welcome home" gift. Jesse will win it by three.

Damien vs. Dave - Hmm, someone from the Deadbeats against someone from the Unemployed. Dave will win this one in sudden death.

Cas vs. Rix - Tough call here, but I think Cas is going to take it by two.

Ariadne vs. Qwendolyn - Another duel between someone who frequents the arena against someone who apparently duels once just to remain in the standings. Qwen should win it by 1.5.

Drey vs. Gwydion - I'll say Drey will win with a three point margin.

Jeff vs. Perri - I'll just say Jeff. He's very "streaky," and can pull off the wins if he has a good start. Perri's been gone too long to remember how to get a good start. Jeff by four.

Xeric vs. Lexi - I haven't seen Lexi duel much, but I think she can pull off a 2.5 point win over Xeric.

Gray vs. In Remains - Gray by two.

Huma vs. Baphe - The giant lizard should take this one with a three point margin.

K'yorl vs. Leo - As much as I respect Leo, I'm going to have to say K'yorl is going to take this by two.

Kaene vs. Gunther - I'll give Kaene a two and a half point lead when he wins this one.

Karen vs. Robert - Karen should win this one in sudden death.

Tarl vs. Reod - Tough one to call here. I'll give this one to Reod in sudden death.

Chances are I'll be wrong in a lot of these; I'm not as good at this as I thought I used to be. Ah well, good luck to everyone.

To clarify, just because I only duel every now and then does not mean I never show up to watch. I have seen much in my years here, including the "someone who frequents the arena" disrespect her opponent by calling to friends while in the middle of a duel.

An offended,

Hey G,

My outlook...I like a challenge, and going into any tournament cold and unknowing is about as tough as it comes. Anyone who's been around and knows how these things work, can in fact figure out all possible combinations of who they would possibly face, and such, cram in some scouting. I feel that winning a duel but pure skill and gut instincts are the way to go. If somebody scouts, they remove the skill.

Not all scout, but some do. Set me up with anybody, if I'm on my game, I'll win, if not...I'll be going home early. Either way, I'll be entertained.

One thing...

The name of "The Lily King" is an appellation applied to my ex-husband due to his use of a flower, the lily obviously, as his crest and in his coat of arms... very unusual for the area he comes from, or so I'm told.
It is also our daughter Delilah's favorite name for him, as her nickname is also Lily.

All of that aside... best of luck to you Perri... and to the rest of you as well.

That giant lizard only managed two points of scoring in 2 duels in 13 total rounds. Probably what he gets for not dueling in 4 months, shows that occasional duelers only for tournies will remain only casual duelers.
