Let it be known.....
On this 27th day in the month of March, Warlord Daii did press his challenge to Baron Troyan, holder of the Fourth Baronial Ring of the Duel of Swords. As people slowly gathered the pair stepped to their corners.
Baron Troyan stood alone, with no Second nor Lady of Honor at his side. He would duel this eve under neither banner or colours .
As the Warlord Daii took to his corner, no Second or Lady of Honor would escort him. His colours bore no meaning and no banner would wave o're his corner this eve.
Upon entering the Ring of Challenge, they would salute, then engage in a battle for the right to wear the Forth.....
RD 1: Reod ducks low and fancily only to make a perfect target for the low sweeping blow by Jesse. 1-0 Jesse
RD 2: Reversing his cut, the Baron lands a blow to the head of the side stepping Warlord. 2-0 Jesse
RD 3: As they both lunge, blade and foot land painful hits to the mid section to take the score to 3-1 Jesse
RD 4: Jesse slashes out wildly, the flair added causing the low cutting blade of Reod to strike at the shins. 3-2 Jesse
RD 5: Jesse kicks out with a fancy high parry to fend off the advance of the thrusting Reod. 4-2 Jesse
RD 6: The dueler's display a fine example of a Bishop Block, as foot and blade collide, giving each a moment to pause in this duel. 4-2 Jesse
RD 7: The Baron skillfully and deftly steps out and around the slashing blade of Reod to retain his title as the Fourth Baron of the Duel of Swords. 5-2 Jesse
Baron Jesse Troyan defeats Warlord Reod Daii, 5-2 in 7 rounds.
