DoF Trivia

I thought it would be nice to have some trivia questions every once in a while about the DoF. I don't know that much because I haven't been here that long, but with help this might become something.1: Who came up with the idea of putting rank in rings? ((*Note to person who did this. You know who you are, so please don't answer ;-) ))

She stood in front of the boards, reading the tacked up notes while Kaylan ran around tables chasing after the Blue. She reached up with her pen, scribbling a note."If anyone actually *knows* the answer, please feel free to let on."She paused, then added another."My turn. Who holds the record (both people) for the longest series of Mirror rounds in DoF history? One hint, you don't see either of them often."~Shannon

I do believe the record for the Most Mirrored Rounds in a Row is held by Jake and Dare, I'm pretty sure it's not gonna be broken anytime soon =)

"Who was involved (and what was the score) in the highest-scoring DoF duel ever? (hint: it's a tie answer)"Iain wandered by, read this, and winced, because even though he was pretty sure that duel between himself and Shanni years ago wasn't still the one that held the record, he *still* hurt from that one, and thinking about it didn't help.

::she reached up, tacking another slip of paper onto the others::C'mon, people..let's get involved here..The answer to the first one Bane posed was back about three years ago, and I can proudly say the rings were my idea. I don't believe it was ever *officially* sanctioned - it just sort of happened.I'd ask that anyone who's sure on the participants for this next one to help me out...The high-score record was set during one of the Diamond Quests, I *believe* it was about a year and some ago. It was between Imp, and I can't remember who the other was. (I want to say Murphy?). The score ended at 10-9.The tie came a month or so later, between myself and someone (again, I don't remember), by the same score.I think, prior to that, it was 8-7, which Ian will remember fondly. ::straight faced::~Shannon

In Fact, that's not true. If the highest you think is 8, I scored an 8.5 against Anthonny. The final score was 8.5 - 7.5.

I think, Anthonny, you gotta go back and read more closely. The record is 10-9. It used to be 8-7, until the Diamond Quest where two of the duellers went to the 10-9 mark. I and another dueller tied that mark a month and some later. And you should know that you cannot have 8.5 scores in DoF. There are no half points. That's the swords league. Tsk.~Shannon

::she pauses, scribbling a second note::Note about my reply...I should have said "Andrew", not Anthonny. I misread something and had the wrong name in mind. But the message remains the same...the record, in fact, is true.~Shannon
