My Dear Rix,

You may well have been right. It is hard to tell since I am not sure what it is you feel you were right about. Perhaps you will enlighten me.

Your humble servant

My dear Khrys,

Your opinion, my opinion are exactly that. Perhaps Dustin can enlighten you about the price of having a opinion that does not meld with Jonalyn's.

You have seen ample instances of Jonalyns meddling in affairs that rightly are of minor importance and then blowing them into mountains of invective and insults.

I differ from her in many respects as time will reveal. In any case given the same set of facts many people will come to entirely different opinions. You are entitled to yours, I mine.

Your humble servant,

My Dear Lady Drake,

Since when has a simple request been a mark of arrogance? I am the least arrogant of the many personalities that thrive in our world. If you peruse other corks you will find that many people personify the threads they use.

Your humble servant,

My Dear Sidartha Elgarette,

Oft times red hair is presumed to be an excuse for intemperate behavior. I am far more amused then offended by your stance. In time you may well learn to change your opinion.

My Dear Jeff Oakenshield,

In the multiverse there are many fantastic groups and organizations scattered across the plains of existence. In one such environment there is.....I am not sure you will be able to accept this, but it is a truth......a society that is fond of the male, female, and undecided members getting in a line spread across a stage and to the discordant tunes and wailing to something they call line dancing. I attest this is a true thing as I have seen it and
was dazzled by the sight of so many left feet.

In another plain there is a society that never leaves their dwellings except for means of seeking sustenance. When inside their dwellings they hover around a device that seems to project images. It may well be an altar of sorts as they seem to govern their lives by it. A subset of that group spends a great deal of their time in front of smaller versions of the device. I have heard whispers that they are line groups.

In yet another society in yet another plain the life form is inteligent avaians who spend most of their dormant state on strange lines strung between structures of uncertain use. They would be called online groups I am sure.

I hope I have answered your question. How often do you ask a question and get three possible answers? You need not thank me, I am always glad to contribute to the knowledge of any society in which I have an interest.

Your humble servant,

My Dear Unsigned Post,

I have no idea what you are speaking of. There is nothing at the top of your missive other then the words of your missive. You have me at a disadvantage, please clarify exactly where it is that your name is.

Dear "G",

If you feel that you would prefer to be addressed in the fashion you have requested as a matter of courtesy I will endeavor to comply. In return, I request you call me Andrew if we are being informal.

On to another topic. Consider this as a hypothetical statement that may be useful in clarifying an underlying issue.

If you had a strong-willed, articulate, vengeful personality possessed of excellent verbal skills and willing to beat on an issue until it has become a sword to be used as this person desires you would have a formidable weapon. Many people of lesser will, or indeed many who would rather go along then become a target tend to give this personality what they want if for no other reason then to be left alone. Eventually, others find that if they
support this personality they tend to become favored. The next step in the progression is to actively support the personality and act for it with or without direction. Eventually, this personality has a pack of jackals who will attack anyone who disagrees or is out of favor.

Eventually, stronger and more subtle personalities see this person as a means to their ends and start supporting the personality. Eventually, you arrive at a situation where this hypothetical person has mastered their enviroment to the point that his/her wishes become directions that many will follow. At this point the personality is now able to control the environment to a large extent. Who is to say that this is right or wrong? That would be a
question each person would have to resolve for themselves.

Eventually, I would expect that Avery will return. Who knows all the turns of the wheel? Not I. I wonder how many who turned their back on him will react to that if and when it happens. You need not answer as it was not really a question, more of a musing.

In any case, I hope that I have in my fashion answered your query.

Your humble servant

Mr. Pyre~

This is getting tiresome, sir. You've yet to explain a few terms to us, namely "online group" and "thread". Also, this chunk of cork does not belong to you, it belongs to the sport as a whole. Perhaps you should learn about the Community you come to annoy before placing a piece of parchment upon this corkboard.

My Dear Sidartha Elgarette,

Patience is a virtue. Eventually all will be explained to you. Only you of course will be able to determine if it was to your satisfaction of course. Based on the impatience inherent in your previous posts I would imagine you are not overly receptive to viewpoints and perspectives not meeting your insular ones.

I have in my fashion explained the reference to online groups. If you are not content with that explanation then I regret you will have to suffer the stings and arrows of the injustice of it all.

I have answered Lady Drake as to the concept of the boards. You may if your so inclined peruse that answer and derive whatever satisfaction it may bring you.

Threads....now that is a subject that if you like I can wax eloquent on. Would you like me discuss this with you? I would find that interesting.

Your humble servant,

Andrew,

Here's my only question. Who are you to know so deeply the inner workings behind what happened with Avery's removal? I know I wasn't around for quite a while, but I think I would've heard something of you, at the least, had you been a member of the Council, or an official of the Sport.

To restate, the entire purpose of that short paragraph is to find the answer to this one question: Who are you?

Mr Pyre~

I stand corrected. You are worse than Jonalyn, and that takes a hell of a lot. Crawl back into the womb of whatever "lady of the night" birthed you and be an annoyance no longer. Since you are "my servant" I'm sure you'll want to accomodate the wishes of your boss.

I've a question of my own, and probably the most important question of all:

Why are the lot of you wasting time in dialogue with someone who should rightfully be allowed to remain in his waste-ridden alleyway, clutching the paper sack which contains his bottle of low-grade swill, and ranting to the night sky?

For the love of God, people, have pity. Escort the gentleman, should you run across him, to the local sanitarium, rather than continuing to abuse his addled sensibilities in this fashion. You'll feel much better about yourselves come morning, trust me.

Regards,
Ian Rex.

Thank you Khrysta, you have reminded me of something.

For all that Mister Pyre seems to believe that Starfare was behind Avery losing the Mantle of Overlord, there is indeed more proof that she would not have been.
In point of fact, no person berated those Loyal Barons who voted to remove Avery from his position than she did... save perhaps Baron Oakenshield.

While I believe Starfare is many things, I hardly believe she sought to have Avery stripped of title without he, or his Loyal Barons, being able to defend him.

As for Mister Pyre's insistance that others have claimed this cork board their own... rest assured they were also disabused of this notion. Anyone at all may post notices here at their whim. You may request all you wish, but no one need follow your "guidelines" on how they must sign their name.

::Knowing that the style of script is enough for most people to identify her, she leaves the note unsigned... perhaps out of spite.::
