He continued along the road noting little evidence of travel other then a few sets of footprints. Coming around a corner he noticed a piece of parchment hanging from a low-hanging limb of a river oak. Reining the horse to a halt he read the words that had been so neatly penned.
"I touch but cannot feel,
love, but cannot heal
loan but cannot give
move, but cannot live"
Musing over the words for a moment he puzzled it out, nodded to himself and continued on his deeper into Greylin.
