To the Brawlers of Fists

It is at this time I would like to announce that I will be retiring from the Duel of Fists as I have just previously done from the Duel of Magic. Unlike Magic where I retired after the tournament I will retire before the tournament and allow the competitors to meet amongst themselves.

I would also like to express my thanks to the Fists community for the honor and privilege of safekeeping the Diamond rank this last cycle. In the past I often felt an outsider in the Fists community but for some reason I felt welcomed this last cycle. Not because I was the Diamond but because I came each week save one or two. It was through regular participation I felt that I got to know many of you better.

My time at home in Atrebla is becoming more needed as my daughters need a father around more. I wish all emeralds good luck in their personal quests for skill and effort as the match mettle with the finest bunch of Fist Brawlers I have had pleasure of meeting.

I will serve in the capacity of the Diamond until the 15th of January as I feel it is important for the rank to not be vacant and will see some of you in these last two weeks. As of the 15th I ask that not only my name being removed from Diamond, but from the list of Emeralds as well.

(PS) Goon, I owe you a no holds barred, no extra tricks match. In a way you made me what I am and for that I thank you. Matt I also owe you one as in light of my regular appearances of late I dont believe we got to duel yet. Maybe 2 duels Matt? One each way ::wink wink::
