Esteemed Barons of the Duel of Swords,
I issue a challenge to each o' you this day.
I challenge ya each tae prove you honor the sport and title you bear.
I see little o' each of you, less of some and dare say this is little more than passing entertainment for you when boredom has set in.
Prove me wrong. This is my challenge.
My personal feelings to each of you aside, I can't help but feel a lack of regard for the sport and community from you all.

I am still slightly disappointed myself
that you did not wish to continue your challenge against me earlier this year. My challenge to you 13 is as simple as can be. Show yourselves and demonstrate the honor that grew this community in days gone by.Teach the young duelers the art of the blade. Show them how to properly seek an opponent, and then to respect those who cross blade with them , win or lose.
Did you come to Rhy Din, skilled with the blade. Did you know the traditions at the day of your birth?
Of course you did not. This being said, someone older and wiser must have assisted you to some degree. This is my challenge, prove that this sport and community mean more to you than relief of boredom when you are out of favor with the wenches.
The inn keeper has started restaffing the arena and the doors are open to many a young dueler full of piss and vinegar and looking for a fight. Step forward and teach them the ways of the blade and the DoS.
As for the matter of our unfinished challenge, I was given leave by the standings keeper and the commission to press the matter, but for reason of my own, I imposed a penalty on my self for the stupidity I demonstrated when offering an invalid peer, that you most hastily pointed out.
The cycle long penalty has expired and I soon will be sending word to some Baron of my desire to test their skill, prehaps even you, should fate direct me to the First.

I think that the good Lord MacDonnaugh makes an excellent point, though I do believe that there might be one or two Barons who do their bit in these regards. However, I must say, I think it is in very poor taste for someone to dredge the failures of the past up in reply to a request for the bettering of the future. I think that we should all act to the best of our abilities upon Seamus's challenge, whether we hold title or not.

I, myself, have spent a bit of time in the Arena of late. And I am hard pressed to find the patience *required* to sit and teach anyone in there anything. If you've got that, then you've impressed me.
On a side note, Why must it just be Barons you wish to Motivate? Are there no Warlords and lower ranked that are worthy of the task? I know many who either did not manage to make Warlord, or who held it for a very short time that would be just as worthy to the task you set to Barons only.
Hell, you could even yell at me to do the same thing. But I straight tell that I don't have the patience for it. :)
Anyways, good luck in your challenge, and all, to you both. And yell at everyone equally, not just any single rank. :D

I am shocked and disappointed at the apparent display of pride expressed by a (so called) servant of God. Ms. Wilder's manner is not in keeping with the humility of spirit called upon by those who respond to the call of Christ. Her attachment to material things is unseemly and does little to set forth the positive example a servant of Christ should seek to display.
Furthermore, Father Dominic, I am disappointed that you yourself have not sought to discourage her in this pursuit of one of the seven deadly sins. I urge you to speak again with your flock member and encourage her to put aside the materialism of man. If she truly seeks to promote the the Word of God, then she must put aside titles of the material world. If she remains headstrong in this matter, then I must advise you that perhaps her heart is not
yet ready to truly serve God and that she should be encouraged to spend time in quiet reflection, perhaps at a secluded abbey, where she can reflect upon whether the calling is for her.
