>Since when have the Barons of this community become politicians?
>A whiny warlord cries over a letter delivered two minutes late or at least
>alleged to be late. Since the letter was delivered on the 7th day one would
>assume the allegation obserd.

Which is why none of the Barons voted on this. Once AGAIN, this is NOT about any two minutes of any day, except perhaps during the time the Baroness missed the time and date
she scheduled to fight the match.

Seamus, I know that you are not a dullard, please stop with this stubborn refusal to stay on the topic and attempts at making the Councils vote into something with which it has absolutely, positively nothing to do.

If the Commission asked the Council to rule on Karen's no-show, then their ruling should be allowed.
If the Commission didn't ask the Council to make a ruling on a no-show, then there's something wrong with this picture.
So what happened?

Seamus, the Baron's council has always been politically motivated. I sincerely hope you remember your realignment and challenge to Dalamar a few years back. One would hardly call that move non-political.

As for the question as to weather this matter was officially sent to the council, I offer this blurb from a letter Stormi wrote to the council.

"Warlord Mortis, Baroness Wilder, Overlord and Esteemed Council:

The matter regarding the Challenge to the Fourth is hereby submitted to the Barons Council for *failure to appear/forfeiture* on the part of the Baroness. "

Yes, this matter was sumbitted to the council. Karen, informing us through Father Dominic, said that should the matter go to the council, she wished to be stripped of the 4th and not held in a different light as the other Baron's of her tenure. By a vote of 6-4, the council voted to strip her.

The Baron's council decision should stand. If it doesn't, then the commission is making a mockery of this sport.

Overlord.

Given th' fact thet many o' the Order were injured and th' Church were in a state o' chaos over th' weekend, it be quite possible thet some missives sent tae the Church fer me were lost.
Ifin one o' th' Officials did indeed turn th' matter o' me absence over tae th' Council, would ye kindly send me a copy o' thet missive?

Th' Warlord has asked tae meet me taenight at nine o' th' Eastern Clock. Ifin the missive do exist, I do hope thet many o' the Council will come tae the Arena, so a Champion fer the Fourth can be chosen. Th' Baron Miyamoto has nominated Baroness Morgan.

I's'd like tae see this done an' finished with taenight, one way or th' other.

As requested by Karen, the letter is posted below.

Warlord Mortis, Baroness Wilder, Overlord and Esteemed Council:
The matter regarding the Challenge to the Fourth is hereby submitted to the Barons Council for *failure to appear/forfeiture* on the part of the Baroness.  As we all know there was some controversy surrounding the validity/acceptance of this challenge and may have been some misunderstandings as to the actual time and date scheduled for the completion of this challenge.
You have at your disposal numerous options to rectify this situation.  I have spoken with the Commission and they agree that the matter is in your hands, the Barons Council, and ask for a decision in a timely manner so that this challenge may be completed.  Due to the lack of communication and confusion on the *acceptance* issue, the Commission politely suggests that the Council opt for the rescheduling of this challenge.  Please notify the
Commission as to your decision.

Sincerely,
