Challenge for ShadoWeaver

On the third day of December in the year of the Orc, members of the Outback Community were treated to a challenge match that occured late in the evening. Becuase of schedules I did not have the oppertunity to inform everyone of the match like I would hope, but let this post be witness to what took place during the match.

I would like to compliment both the Champion of ShadoWeaver, Tisman of the Black Rose and his Challenger Colonel Matthew Algiers Simon on their decorum and respect during the match. It flowed smoothly and was a fine event for all to observe.

In 11 rounds Tisman of the Black Rose took a five points to four points victory over his Challenger Matthew Simon. At this time both dueler were offered a chance for a momentary break. Both duelers decided to forego the break and continue to duel the second match of this best of three. Here now are the results to that match..

In 12 rounds Tisman of the Black Rose took a five points to four points victory over his Challenger Matthew Simon. By winning the second match Tisman of the Black Rose has earned the right to bear the opal ShadoWeaver for the remainder of this cycle without further challenge.

First, I'd like to thank Matt for his skill, and the mild coronary that I had while anticipating his moves as they struck me in the face. As always, GoldenShorts made me work very hard, and it saddens me that a dueler of his caliber isn't more respected in the ring.

Thank you also to Bob-o as he took the time away from his treatment in the asylum due to experiencing something about cat feet to call the duel.

I look forward to seeing all of you often, and anticipate the adventures that we can share in the rings.

Excuse me, Tex..... But there's nothing in the rules that say someone else can't challenge him during the remainder of this cycle. It only states that he must defend at least once a month when challenges have been tendered. So theoretically, some other Emerald could still challenge him for his Opal.
