A last satisfied glance about the cottage and a final swish of the small broom she swept the scraps of wood into the fireplace, an easy fire blazing merrily with snaps and crackles. Sitting on the furred rug before the fire she eyed the uniform laying on the chest off to the side of the fireplace hoping she was doing the right thing. Mostly she hoped it would still fit, leather having gotten pretty expensive in the last
few months. She would find out soon enough.
