She'd returned to the arena quietly about a month before, but it was the first time she'd had time to look around. During the day, the arena was quiet to the ear, but the walls often spoke. Memories rang out from them. Thoughts of those long past and those still remaining behind filled her head.

There was G'nort, he was always the one with a wisecrack on his lips and a twinkle in his eye. When it came down to it, he was always there for those he called friend. Then there was Seamus, he had been a father figure to Rhi and good friend to her mother. Collie and Seamus often bet a bottle of good whiskey or a friendly kiss on the outcome of a duel. No matter who won, they just enjoyed themselves.

She chuckled over the some of the notices written upon the ancient cork. Seems Jonalyn's magic quill was still as sharp as ever.

It was nice to see Altara back to calling again. It was good to know Nych was still there. They'd worked side by side for a long time. She was quite fond of that Sassanach.

A breeze came down the stairs ruffling the banners, she looked up to find one that she had placed there still remained. Her eyes remained transfixed on the dark blue banner with a dragon upon it. She often wondered what became of the man she had placed it there to remember. Some said he was dead, others that he just disappeared. Collie had moved on in her life, but sometimes, she heard his voice in her head, "Never second guess."
