Ladies and Gentlemen of the duels....
Well, I managed to screw the opportunity of the century up. Well, lemme explain...
I played a gambit. The Druid Marzan informed me of having many Barons at his side for his challenge, so I decided to back his challenge, offering to champion his regin and all, hoping to be an influence on the Overseer, and thereby having the position I wished, without the title and bothers involved, and with all the Barons siding with Marzan, the time seemed ripe to take the reins of leadership in the DoS, and actually try changing things...
As you know, Marzan lost, though, and that's where the second part of my plan came into play. With my challenge to Baroness Kaprielle, I hoped to take advantage of the situation, proceeding to challenge Dalamar from a more advantageous position, and hoping to transfer the Barons support of Marzan to myself, thereby achieving my goal, albeit in a manner less preferable...
Alas, neither suceeded, and I doubt this opportunnity will present itself again soon. Soooo...I will sit back and relax for a time, staying out of the tempest that is the DoS nowadays, for I have failed in my attempt to gain a place where I was in a position to influence things in the duels, and from where I could try to begin remedying the problems in out sport....
So, I will leave the matters of this tempest to the ones in power for a time, and try to keep out of it. But, hear me....if I catch any of certain people trying to hurt my friends, as one did this night of the challenge, I will make sure the said person regrets it, mark my words...
