On this day under the full moon and brilliant sparkling stars upon the place know as the battlefield, the day marked as the 1st of the 12th month I did preside over a challenge made by the Druid Marzan for the title of Overlord of DoS. The Druid was accompanied to the ring by his second the Warlord Anthonny, and the lovely Warlady Topaz Eludes did stand at his side as his lady of honor. The Druid fought under the colors of Red, Gold, and
Black.
Having thus been challenged our current Overlord, Dalamar Ar'Daumon, did answer the call and come to the ring resplendent under the colors of Silver and Black of the oldest house. At his side stood the Warlord and former Baron Jeffrey Oakenshield, and standing in his corner was the lovely Lady Mimi Tremond being his lady of honor.
The duel was set to be the best of three, and didst proceed as follows.

Congratulations to the worthy Overlord Dalamar Dar' Amoun....who has repeatedly shown his superior skills in the ring time and again. May he live forever.
Mathias, thank you for calling the challenge on short notice... you were able to capture the sense of dignity and ceremony necessary to an event such as this was.
A heartfelt thank you to Madame Topaz Eludes, fiance of Sir Jerod.... who performed exquisitely as my Lady of Honor.
Grateful thanks to Anthonny, my friend and second.
Thank you those who came to watch, and to those who sent letters of loyalty and support. I was deeply flattered by your responses. I shall stand by those of you who did so.
Finally, I wish to thank the Commoners of Swords... often overlooked.... but they are the reason that I sought this challenge... They are the life and the soul of Swords.....
