In a week or so, Lucifer had thouroughly entwined himself throughout Adam's mind. He lived alone, no family, few friends. Other than his social status, Adam was perfect. No one would notice he was gone, no one would care. He hadn't shown up for work in a week and not a soul appeared to give a second thought as to why.
Lucifer had gone about his usual routine, infiltrating Adam's life as he had done to so many other host bodies. The task was unordinarily simple. No other people interfering with plans.
The night came when Lucifer ventured into the arena with a wielder. A duel came and went and the sword realized things were harder than they seemed. The rules here, he had never encountered. Imagine, combat with rules. Who ever heard of such a thing? This would change everything.
The restrictions imposed upon him would surely muck things up. Strategizing would be neccesary. He would be forced to rely on his skills other than the pure nature of the sword. A new vessel would be needed eventually though and Lucifer had one in mind.
