Attention would be Swords challengers

Dueling Community,
This missive upon the public cork is a little refresher course in Challenging 101 as by the usual traditions of the sport for the nearly nine years I have been a patron of this venue. If you wish to challenge someone and have met the requirements, please do the following.
A. Send a missive to whom you are challenging, the officials, and the other title holders of the sport.
B. Post a missive upon this cork so that the public at large may know that a title holder has been challenged to prevent unfavorable scenarios that the Baron's Council would have to deal with and as a courtesy to the dueling community.
C. Sit back and wait for the officials to tell you it is a go for moving forward and then wait for the challenged to reply with particulars.
D. Work with the challenged to arrange the particulars and then of course duel your challenge match.
In step A only the person with whom you are challenging and the Standings Keeper really only need to be sent a missiveas by the rules. However, since the Baron's Council usually has to deal with situations when challenges don't go right or something becomes messed up it is good that they have all the perinent documentation at their disposal as well to form better opinions and stances on the situation to offer judgement on it if so needed.
In step B this is not a rules requirement, but a courtesy to the dueling community at large for multiple reasons. Foremost, if another dueler wanted to challenge the title holder with whom you just challenged, then they are aware and can react accordingly, either by getting in a que against a Renegade, or not if they don't wish to knowing circumstances have changed, or to prevent a challenge from becoming voided because someone already
challenged a Loyal. Also, it allows the community at large to know of succficant events happening within our community and perhaps generate interest in the event.
In steps C and D after issuing challenge, the Standings Keeper will verify whether your challenge can proceed or not, and then the one you challenged can appropriately respond with their particulars. While the following missives of replies don't necessarily need to be posted to this cork, the perinent information, like the match's final details is a bonus and a courtesy as well. The dueling community should not have to wait for the next
posting of the Standings to learn of a pending challenge, and the challenged should definitely not have to be the one to have to inform the public they been challenged either.
While this may seem obvious to some, it has come to my attention that many do not understand some of these basic traditions of our sport. Thank you.
Regards with respect, skill, and honor to the Blade,

This may be "tradition," but it isn't law.

I got a rule for you Elijah:
Ramsus' Rules for "I think I'm an important leader of the community who speaks on their behalf and whines about tradition when no one else apparently gives a damn.":
1.) Shut the hell up.
1(a) because no one cares
Appendix: If any confusion should occur, please refer to Rule 1 before moving on to 1(a).
As for your "traditions", well you know what you can do with those. I've never been one much for tradition. If you want me to be explicit though, let me know.

And that attitude is one reason why you constantly find yourself within the Test of Worthiness.

Because I don't follow tradition?
It is a tradition for me to beat you, and I'm still getting the Test. Drats.
Of course, Cassius's attitude is the be-all and end-all of all attitudes. He would never get a test of worthiness--he is an absolutely incredible duelist and all. Great guy, too. I'm gawking.

And people wonder why I have a bad attitude? In the only replies to trying to do something to make things flow better around here are two duelists bickering at one another, and another one telling me to shove it for no reason but for the heck of it. Why do I bother, I guess I won't bother anymore then. Good luck to you all.

Roman,
I didn't read a thing about him leaving, merely sounded like he is fed up with trying to educate those without knowledge of the "customs" and was done tryin

Cas,
Assuming you take the ring from E, how about holding on to it until I can take it from you.
