Well as it would work out, after the swim in the bay, the rings in the sac melted. It seems the jewelry was sugar.
I took the rings Poison left in my office and dipped them all in a pitcher of water and Lo and behold, same thing happened to all the rings save two. One bearing the letter Seamus ( I assume that to be Seamus') and the 7th's original ring.

I am so glad the ring has been recovered. Please don't be too upset with Harris over the mischief, he certainly meant no harm. All's well that ends well.
