Shakira and Max' Challenge was tonight, with Shakira being the Challenger.
The Test of Worthiness was Jaycy Ashleana dueling for Max, and Anubis Karos dueling for Shakira.
Jaycy Anubis

Jaycy beat Anubis 5-0 in 6 rounds and then went on to fight Shakira. Shakira had the upperhand in that duel though winning 5-4 in 14 rounds.

Max and Shakira then had one duel to fight, winner take the OLship. They both put up a good fight, but Shakira ended up taking the OL from Max, then handed Max the Ring for the Fifth.

Max Blue is now the holder of the 5th Baronial Ring, And CatShakira is now the new Overlord.
Ticcallion Carter declared himself Renegade at the end of the duel, and Max also declared himself Renegade. No other Barons have declared allegiance at this present time.

It was a pleasure to official these duels, and I'd like to tell everyone again that they did a good job.

Allow me to be the first one in the realm to congratulate Shakira on her victory. A victory made all the more impressive by virtue of the fact that almost the entire room was hostile towards her before and during the match. At least the crowd grew quiet once they realized they had underestimated the Cat-Lady Demon Queen of the Abyss. While her methods of securing the match were questionable, her victory was not.

G'nort Esplenade G'neesmacher Dragoon Talanador is going to be listed as Loyal to the Overlord for a substantial sum of finances delivered per month, 5 slave girls delivered on the first month, and two per month for each month the Overlord remains in power.

See? For the right prices, even you could buy G's Loyalty.

Since Max tested Shakira when he told me he wouldn't and because Shakira defended her Ring twice and put Cas in his place...
