It was my honor to witness the challenge match between Baron Max Quinlan Blue and Warlord Harris D'artainian for the right to bear the Fifth Baronial Ring. Neither listed any particulars, and the match began with little formality in a single-duel format. For much of the duel, there were more words exchanged than blows.

Max jumped out to a two-to-nothing lead with couple of intermittent cuts. Harris then answered with two and a half points, and the lead began to seesaw with vigor. In the end, Max broke loose, denying two consecutive cuts by Harris with some masterful parrying.

Final score: Max defeated Harris 5-3.5 in twelve rounds.
