:: It was cold, very cold as Errol walked back to the Inn where he stayed. The young man feeling like he aged overnight, even over the last couple hours. He tried to get warm in his room but despite the fire stoked, Errol felt continual chills, as if some Demon had taken hold of him. It was strange, the same chilly feeling he had sensed in the annex during his matches. The tablets had helped with his heartcondition then but now the pain was intense in his chest and left arm. He went to get a glass of water from the picture but stumbled and fell, collapsing again. This time he could not rise, the giant vice on his chest gripping him harder and harder. The visions of his happy memories here flashed through his mind as he thought of Jonalyn, Gnort and Sidartha. Even betrayed by Freya he thought of her. He smiled as he lay on his back still and paralyzedof how others had come to realize the failed memories of Dalamar. He remembered how they had last parted with notes of peace between themselves as the Overlord wished him well this last eve. He thought about how he had managed to make amends with Seamus. It seemed that all his affairs were in order. Hearing voices around him as if whispers on the wind, his brother Earls voice came through. It was trying to rouse Errol but he could not move andalthough his eyes were open he could not see. He mouthed the words < Take the ring to Mr. Dragoon, he will know what to do, tell him to gain the ring back, he will know what that means. > With a smile that froze on Errols face the noises dimmed and Errol enjoyed a peaceful sleep, that he well deserved.Earl rushed out to get Evan and they quickly carried Errol to the the buckboard, wrapping him up they travelled through the town knowing that Errol must be taken to the homeland to be cared for while in the living death. On the way out of town only stopping for Evan to get supplies and Earl to pass the ring to Mr. Dragoon. ::((Incidently for those that were there, Earl did indeed pass the ring to Gnort, Errol is in a coma, and Gnort is to deal with the ring now. Lets see what the Barons Council will make of this. Although it was Errols sn that mailed the retirement, he actually did not get the chance to talk to Golden himself, cause he collapsed. ))

G'nort was about to leave the arena this nite, having been second to the Baron for his que of challenges, then stepping in to perhaps duel a few. As he prepared to leave, he was approached by one Earl Faline, who shortly thereafter informed G'nort of his relation to Errol, the one who defeated G for the 5th ring. Earl told G'nort that his brother had fallen ill and was now in a coma, not expecting to last the nite, let alone through the next day. He informed G that he was to take care of the Ring. G'nort almost had a blank look, some might say unconcerned, but that wasn't truly the case. He had some problems of his own to work out, still struggling, and then this new information that a man he respected and might have called friend had they gotten toknow each other more disturbed him. Because it was the 5th Ring that G'nort though held a curse, one that now seemed to take the life of the Baron. And now the 5th Ring was in his hand again. "What to do with this" thought G'nort. Try and see if it was legal that Errol abdicate his title to the former holder? G'nort had doubts that that could be legal, thinking he read in teh histories that someone was given a ring by an other Baron, but the new holder wasn't recognized as such. His only real choice was to return the ring to Helix, and have her put it up for the next Tourney. Errol wanted G'nort to regain the Ring of Isolation. G'nort, at one point, was going to try that, having challenged then recinded. Now, he didn't know what to do with it. But he decided would go to someone who deserved to have it. Or he'd be calling. For now, he will hold onto the ring, and wait. And hope that it's curse is able to be broken.
