The following is a plan to address complaints about the RDI Adventures Guidelines and the RDI board monitoring process.

A committee of six people will be formed to review the RDI Adventures Guidelines. The committee will consist of an inhouse AOL Games employee, the Games Channel Coordinator (GamesChanM), the RDI Coordinator (FFGF Thorn), an RDI board monitor representative (RDI Wolf), and two RDI patrons.

The two RDI patrons seated on the committee will be people whose participation within the RDI message boards is visibly apparent. FFGF Thorn will nominate one member, and Games Channel Management will nominate the other. If a nominated member declines to participate another member will be nominated in their place. Employees of AOL and its subsidiaries, and current RDI CLs are not eligible to hold a patron committee seat.

Committee members are required to behave in a civilized manner, and are expected to openly participate in committee discussions. Failure to adhere to these requirements will be grounds for removal from the committee. In the event of a committee member's removal, Games Channel Management will determine if a replacement is necessary, and if so, will nominate a replacement.

The goal of the committee is to determine if changes should be made to the RDI Adventures Guidelines, and if so, make a recommendation as to what those changes should be.

Comments regarding the current RDI Adventures Guidelines will be solicited from members for a period of one week. These comments will be gathered by GamesChanM and distributed en masse to the committee. Member comments distributed to the committee will not include identification of their senders to minimize the impact of pre-existing prejudices.

As was mentioned in my previous post, we're soliciting patron comments on the RDI Adventures Guidelines. Please E-Mail your comments and suggestions to screen name GamesChanM. As stated, patron comments distributed to the committee will not include identification of their senders.

Deadline for submission of comments is Midnight eastern on Friday April 30, 1999.

We haven't received many comments regarding the RDI Adventures Guidelines which is a bit surprising since we were led to believe that there were serious problems with them.

The deadline for submitting comments is still a day away. You still have time to be heard!
