By now the old notice had been folded and refolded so many times that the paper had simply started to disintegrate along the creases. She kept it tucked inside her rear pocket at all times, withdrawing it every now and again to ponder the meaning, to wonder about its potential.

It was after her third disgusted sigh, hearing the supposed best of the sport brag about his pretty diamond, that she finally made her decision. She had already tried that avenue, he couldn't even teach her a proper lesson inside the ring let alone out of it. Nor could any of others of the upper rank echelon... well, those she had tested thus far. Sarah had pointed out others lurking in obscurity, some that she had overheard were legends of the
sport... but simply picking some random Joe and trying his mettle was getting her nowhere, fast. She needed a new approach.

Gloved fingers pull out the notice once more, spreading it on the tabletop before her. The words "Intergender War" catch her attention once more, like they had when she pulled this final ranking sheet from the corkboard upon her arrival here.

The edges of her plan would have to come into focus later, something had to be done right away to kick this thing into gear.

It was time to find that lovely woman, Alexandria.
