Lighted garlands decorate the surfaces of Outback.  They run along the top edge of the bartop, the railing of the stairs to the second floor, the second floor balcony itself, up the beams of Styx and Bridge, and spiral up the stem of the great Fern.  A huge decorated wreath hangs from the second floor balcony, and two huge trees covered in red, green and gold flank the double doors of the Outback.  A million gold flecks sparkle on the ceiling of the dome, resembling the starry night.

Dozens of embroidered white plush stockings cover the wall behind the bar.  Each stocking has a name, and the staff stockings are big, while the smaller stockings bear the names of the many Outback regulars.  On each table is a holly wreath circling a red, green or gold candle, while mistletoe hangs from the ceilings and arches of doorways.

The couch is gone from the raised dias, and in its place are six musicians.  A dance floor covers the open space of the Outback, ready for use.  On the bar itself is a sumptuous feast. The white lights on each garland (and the trees) twinkle merrily, and there is a soft lighting throughout the rest of the area.
