   There were eight, but there could be only one.  A trio of former Diamonds in Matthew Simon, Ria Graziano, and Bode Bojangles showed up to take another shot at the title.  You also had your veterans in Xerzes Maureen, Harris D'Artainian, and Anubis Karos.  And of course your promising newcomers such as Ticallion Carter and Grayson MacLeod.  Courtnall Chambers was the official for the evening and had the combatants choose from a deck of cards to determine the opening pairings for the double elimination tournament.  After that the teeth started to fly!

Matt def. Xerzes 5-3 in 9 rounds
Harris def. Ria 5-3 in 10 rounds
Grayson def. Bode 5-4 in 11 rounds
Anubis def. Tical 5-4 in 13 rounds

After a long journey Harris finally can claim the Diamond as his own.  An impressive showing and an impressive night of fighting.  Final records are as follows.  Harris 5-0, Matt 3-2, Bode 2-2, Anubis 2-2, Tical 1-2, Grayson 1-2, Xerzes 0-2, Ria 0-2.
