Vervainis Yenis walked in the night in this land called Rhy-Din. The is not as crisp here as it is at home, he reasoned. He came from a tundra he and his Barbarian Tribe named Frostbreeze Yale, the merciless wind become cold enough to make the fluids that came from any humanoid body freeze before making contact with the frozen ground.

He had traveled to Rhy-Din with his most fearsome and loyal tribesman, Uthengruntal Bloodhunt. Verminis feared for the man though, Uthengruntal had spent his entire life on the Tundra, living as his Ancestors had so many years ago. Now inside a place where life was more luxury than work, he felt that it wouldn't have an influence to bring the large man, he feared that Uthengruntal might find the people here weak fools, unworthy of existence.

He had spoken with Uthengruntal after his first visit to a place called "The Duelers Arena", finding the man disheartened. He had been defeated by a couple individuals inside single match. He claimed that he had his Trident batted away for points more than being stuck by his opponent's weapon, which back in Frostbreeze was a sign of cowardice and Uthengruntal was enraged by this act.

Vervainis himself had visited the Arena once, and knew what is was to be prejudiced by an overwhelming number of people. He was more experience than his quick-tempered friend in such matters. Dealing with groups of people who thrive off living in lands where life is physically easier than out on the harsh tundra. The title of ‘Duke’ was only given to him by the merchants, as a way to identify who it was who lead the Barbaric tribe of Frostbreeze
Yale. Vervainis dealt with Merchants and Dwarves several times per year, one's that would gather around a lake filled with fish or a mine filled with precious metal, whatever it was that these greedy parasites looked for next in their search for possession.

Uthengruntal did not have that luxury.

He would have to join Uthengruntal one day to this Arena, or visit it on several more occasions, to help his friend cope through this trip to the South. A simple trip of barter trade turned rough.
