Um, Var, hon...from what I just read, he said that you weren't jealous for not having a ring.

Ken. If you think that post is productive, I'm sorry, but please don't contradict yourself. You just seem to be pointing me wrong, therefore, disappointing me to a good extent.
I reread the post, and I don't understand Huma's meaning, honestly. Perhaps thinking he was writing something retalitory towards me, I misinterpreted it. Therefore, I publically apologize for the mistake, if, of course, I did mis read it. That's Huma's decision whether or not he wants to say what he meant. I won't put it on him to say anything though, if he does not wish to.
Ken, I think it is my right to say what I honestly believe. Just as you do, of course. Please, though, for the love of the lord, don't contradict your own words. It's insulting, it truly is.
Honestly, I have no clue as to the meaning of Huma's post ::Feeling like a complete idiot now, regarding it. Knowing he is:: Well, the only thing I can do now is publically apologize, regarding it, because I truly do regret it if I misinterpreted it. Sorry, Huma.

Patrons,
I believe I have more than stated my case here.
Var, I did not really take what you were saying as a personal attack, and I apologize if I came off that way. But I will say that yes...you are right, if the friend I was defending was killing and destroying.....I would have no choice to not only quit defending him or her...but to take up active steps to remove said friend. Because that is me...and honor of friendship is one thing, compromise of personal honor to that extreme is
unacceptable.
My only point, was that even though your morals cast Huma as wrong, it does not mean in any concrete sense that he is....to anyone...other than yourself. I am not saying your opinion is worthless...I am saying as I have always said...people will be who people will be...and be damned with the others, that is the way of humanity. And you will cast Huma as wrong in your eyes, and others might also....then others will disagree.
So really, other than mayhaps complimenting Ken on what I believed was a very astute, if a little inexperienced, observation of the doghouse this thread had fallen into. I am done with my opinions.
Sincerely,
~Adonai

::chuckles:: Finally, the mud slinging ends. ::smiles happily:: Now, about that lack of manner epidemic going around...What to do, what to do? ::taps her favorite marker against the board thoughtfully:: Spank them? ::shakes her head:: Nope, they'd like that...Um....Ignoring them makes it worse. ::finally pens a message::
Maybe, in addition to taking them "under the wing", so to speak, we could have a private talk with anyone really going off? Just an idea.

::chuckling::
I have a new pondering for how to get into this "old" school.
If you have an opinion...
You might be old school.
If you speak your opinion a lot...
You might be old school.
If half the arena greets you when you arrive...
You might be old school.
If you think "newbies" are rude...
You might be old school.
If an Unholy Force of Evil blazes into the Arena and you yawn, or continue reading your newspaper...
You might be old school.
If I laugh reading your quote in Cetran's Follies (I love that column)..
You might be old school.
If you remember MadMadMax (or had your child kidnapped by him ::coffvalmion::), PhantomDoS, JSVRamirez, MeMonk or FantasyRC and label them "new school" ...
You are *definitely* old school.
((If you are fast on the IMs with a link to the rules page and a friendly greeting...
You might be old school.
If you go to bashes...
You might be old school.
If your real life friends, acquaintances, co-workers, family don't understand your obsession with the "complex rock-paper-scissors game"...
You might be old school.
Cheers :) ))
